Why do men want us to date below average men a chance?

  • It depends on what you consider "average/ below average." A vast majority of women, including yourself, are average. You're pretty with make up, and not morbidly obese- i. e. attractive enough. You may not have anything special about you, but there's no real need- you're average, but an average girl gets FAR more attention than an average guy.

    So, I think what men want is not to be treated as below average simply because they're not in the upper quartile of guys. Especially when the girls rating them as such are no better.

So, I can definitely empathize with a girls position, but something tells me you have no idea what it's like being an average guy. Check youtube for any girls who have presented themselves as guys and see the shock they experience. You literally have no clue.

  • It comes down to preferences. Most of these men won’t put effort into themselves but want supermodel women…. It’s a double standard.


    You shouldn’t have to date anyone. If you’re not attracted you’re not attracted for some odd reasons one people feel entitled to date another person.


    It’s your discretion who you say yes to or no to. The same as if you ask a guy out there is a chance of rejection.


    There is some women who date worse looking men. But they probably have some good quality and makes looks don’t matter as much to her.


    Like sometimes a guy who has a lot of options might go for a woman whose less looking. Maybe she’s more comapstibke or has something inside he likes.


    Regardless. You’re allowed to date who ever you want.
