I think it's a little hypocritical, but the thing is, you (mostly) can't choose attraction. Some of it, like body type attraction, is influenced by society and the current trends, but most of attraction is not a choice.

Your question would be like asking "why do gay people choose to be weird and gay like they are, instead of just being straight like the rest of us?" Some people are just gay and some people are straight. Likewise, some people are just into stick thin women, even if they're overweight themselves, and some people like me, are into thicker women.

I myself am short (180 cm), but I'm into taller women, because I find them to usually be much nicer and empathetic than short girls, who are slightly more desired by men in current society. Not to mention tall girls convey power, strength, and dominance, and I get turned on by that in a woman. I can't choose how short I am, nor what kind of girls I'm attracted to. Same likely applies to fat dudes who want stick thin women.

Most guys into stick thin women tend to be white Westerners anyway; I think culture plays a large part in it.

All I'd say is that if someone is having trouble attracting the kind of person they want, thet need to becomr the kind of person who will attract them. So if a fat guy wants a skinny girl but none want him, he needs to change himself to be what they want. But keep in mind that the guys you showed are masculine fat men who are not exactly ugly. They are clearly not incels. No one wants incels, but plenty of girls like chubbynor even fat masculine men because of how strong they tend to be among other reasons.

Be happy that your weight is something you have at least a degree of control over. Imagine all of the short men who can do nothing about the fact that most women prefer tall men. You're more like a guy with a lousy, low-paying job - it sucks to be in that situation, but you can overcome it with hard work and good decisions - which is exactly what I would tell the broke guy who can't get a girl. If you don't want to do the work, you STILL have guys who will take you as you are (something most men wouldn't have), so you can choose one of them. No one said life was easy, but at least you have a path towards improving your situation if you want it badly enough.

I believe woman are wanting an emotional and intellectual connection more than just physical. Woman want a man who can provide, protect, make their partner feel loved and happy. Looks are only a small part of their attraction in my eyes. An overweight man is stronger than a boy sized man who doesn't look like he could stop a man charging at his partner.

For a man he wants someone to keep him being his best. Feeling invincible, keep him eager to work hard even when tired, someone beautiful on his arm when he walks down the road.
