Why do people forget that Teens have sexual desires too?
Nadim171Yoda
Everything that has to do with sex is always rated 18+. But isn't this ridiculous? Each and every one of you had sexual desires and wanted to have sex whether they did it or not when they were between 13-17. So it is just very unrealistic to make sexual things 18+. Being sexually repressed as a teen always made me depressed and stressed.

No one forgot. Sexual activity in minors is just something we don't want to encourage. Most places promote celibacy. Ignoring sexual urges. Is it unrealistic? For sure. Many of us at least sneaked porn when we were teenagers. You're almost expected to. Doesn't mean it has to be encouraged. Be horny on your own. Don't ask us to help, you weirdo.

There is nothing weird with sex, sex is a human instinct like food. If it wasn't for "weirdos doing weird things" you wouldn't exist.

I never said it was. In fact, I said the opposite. I said it was weird to ask adults to help you out and encourage it. As far as I know, my parents weren't teenagers trying to get adults to accept them having sex. They were both legal adults in their 20s and married when I was conceived. And you'll die if you don't eat food. You won't die if you don't have sex. Two very, very different things. If your urges are that bad: masturbate. Works just as well.

What's the difference? What would go wrong if I sexted with a 20 yo girl? Even if it's risky if I'm willing to take the risk, only risking to hurt myself who's business is it to tell me what to do?

Your parents' business, for one. What would go wrong? Well, were it discovered, she would do prison time for engaging in pedophilia and spend the rest of her life labeled as a sex offender, which would exclude her from many jobs. The fact we're even having this conversation is proof that you aren't mature enough to understand the ramifications of actions. Say it moved beyond sexting and you had actual sex. At 15, how do you think you would handle an unexpected pregnancy? A broken or defective condom or failed birth control? Could you support a child? You can't even legally work until 16 and without a high school diploma you're looking at minimum wage. But let's say it stays just sexting. At that point, why not read some cartoon porn comics? Same shit. Still masturbating. No reason anyone else has to be involved. It's three years. A blink of an eye. You can wait. I promise you it won't kill you. Would stake my own life on it.

Basically what you're saying is that we need laws outlawing sex between adults and teens to protect adults from going to jail? So the law is there to protect people from the law. To be clear it is not pedophilia, pedophilia is horrible but pedophilia is being attracted to pre puberscent children. 13+ are Puberscent. It I like an 8 yo girl and I'm 15 then I am a pedophilie. Yes, it's risky but if someone is willing to take the risky nobody should force them not to. It's not illegal for me to literally hurt myself physically

"It's not illegal for me to literally hurt myself physically"... Actually it is... You can be committed to a mental hospital if you are a "Danger to yourself or others" and by that they mean "Inflicting harm upon yourself or attempting suicide" trust me I was a cutter and I was committed for it.

Well, I didn't think of that. You're right on that one. At least they can't outlaw suicide

United States: In the past, many states had laws that regarded the act of suicide as a felony, but these laws were seldom enforced. In the 1980s, 30 out of 50 United States has no laws opposing suicide or attempting suicide. With that said, all 50 states had laws stating that assisted suicide is a felony. Currently there is no law against the act of committing suicide in the United States.
