Why do people hate super models so much?

I had a poll recently where I showed a picture of supermodels and got tons of replies saying they are ugly. or im somehow gay for thinking theyre the epitome of beauty.

Sone Morris are beautiful sone really are scary looking. No model is necessarily beautiful bc she’s a model. It’s not necessarily beauty but unique looks that are sought after, plus nepotism will have some rather common looking people modeling snd it’s silly when they get promoted as stunning just to force public opinion. I’ve been terribly thin like ugly scary thin so I don’t say this out if envy, many models over do it and it’s gross.

The models in my opinion that maintain at least a 18-20 bmi are the most appealing aesthetically, but that doesn’t mean they have a nice face. Being lean is not so rare and not hard to accomplish if you really want to be lean so I do not think that’s the most salient feature in choosing models.

However, outside of Nordic countries, it is rare for women to be over 5 9 and it’s VERY rare for women to be over 5 9 but with a small bone frame. I don’t Mean skinny, I Mean delicate bones. Most very tall women even if skinny, have relatively broad frames to support their elongated skeletal system. For scope, typically for Women, your wrist will be over 6 inches circumference past 5 ft 8 whereas can be as small as 4 inches circumference under 5 ft 2. There are outliers, and they are found amongst models )

This combo of very thin grey tall very Lithe with few curves, is what gay men decided clothing looks best on so the sample size is small bones long body relatively straight form. & Bc they don’t make custom clothing For each model, they all need to fit the clothes, as is, therefore many are chosen based on this Metric for convenience. Consequently, often their face is meh 🤷🏻‍♀️ and that’s ok.

Honestly, I don’t see why people are offended if you don’t worship every model that if you are not impressed you are jealous. No I don’t worship every person I see and mire is are people like anyone else. There nay understandably be some ire directed at celebrity culture in general bc it is surrounding really obnoxious and that will trickle over to models as well.

All the fawning over people who basically play dress up for a living is ridiculous. Yea they may have to output effort in but so does a custodian cleaning 💩 out of toilets all day long - let’s be realistic, working is what every one dies with every job and a cleaning person is literally helping prevent the spread of diseases but it’s not glamorous.

Models don’t get attention bc if their work ethic it’s bc they turn people on, which is fine but I can understand it being annoying and not bc of jealousy. There are people that really just find fanfare sickening and you don’t have to agree but there’s no reason to not accept it just as they should accept if you like to look at a model 🤷🏻‍♀️ it

Nothing against women looking leaner than the average currently is. In fact, I fight against the normalization of obesity. Not just for looks, for their own better life quality in all ways.

But that's a very common misconception, that they claim "models are anorexic". No, these models have absolutely nothing to do with women, they're all men who naturally have no feminine body fat.

I don’t hate anyone but I dislike the supermodel/fashion/aesthetic industry in general because of the disservice they do to people by making people feel they need to be fake and look fictitious instead of appreciating the natural aspect and beauty to the human body.
