Guys, Why do people make excuses for not wanting to engage in group sex?

When a topic like this comes up, 99.99 percent of people will bring up STDs.

OK, so what if there were no STDs, now what? What other excuse can you come up with?

Why not just be honest in the first place. Say it's wrong or you don't like it, but if you say you're worried about an STD, it suggests that you would engage in group sex if there were no STDs.

I enjoy the fantasy of group sex, but would never have the courage to try it. See how easy that is? lol

I've noticed that 90% of the replies come from guys, so I've made it easy for girls not to reply.

I think most men are afraid that they may, at some point, be watching another guy or guys fuck their wife or their girlfriend. Also, may be worried about others seeing their penis, flaccid or erect, and the size thing become real to see other men's erect penis and it MAYBE in and out of their wife or girlfriend.

Why does anyone need an excuse... if someone is not comfortable with the idea of multiple partners whatever their reasoning then no moron should be bothering them about it
And I will just say this... you are talking about in real life and in real life there are STDs and not all of them can be made to permanently disappear. To be honest you sound very judgmental about something you really don't have a good justification for feeling that way

I can't answer your really good question about why people make up the excuses.

My wife and I have talked about this and want to do it; STDs and trust issues with the others give us pause but, bottom line (pun intended) we want to do it.

Snow, I once asked a question on this site, and it was... "If science could eradicate all diseases in the world, would promiscuity increase?" I shit you not, all the idiots said that promiscuity wouldn't increase. Really? So all of these fools who say they wouldn't engage in wild sex because of disease, now had to switch gears, and come up with a new excuse. Why not just be honest and say they think wild sex is bad? Wowsers. Yeah. Still not sure I can think why. Some guesses might include they don't want to offend (unlikely). There also might be the hidden thing of they secretly like it but don't want to admit it so now they're caught in the no man's land of trying to navigate through excuses. People use similar tactics to sugar coat the truth in many situations, like pretending to be sick to avoid going out. Not wanting to hurt other's feelings seems to be the reason we do it.

I actually would if I were single. I wouldn't if I had a girlfriend though. I don't have an issue if another guy is fine with me fucking his girlfriend. I just don't want another guy to fuck my girlfriend. If we are all single and the girls are all willing, I see nothing wrong with it.
