Why do so many girls regret ONS and hookups so much?

I have seen this with female friends so many times. They are hooking up, having fun and having consensual sex and enjoying. Nobody's forcing them, they are intentionally dressing up, going to parties, having sex with guys but the next day so many regrets, crying over it, or even sometimes blaming the guys for what happened even if she initiated the hookup. I have never seen any guy regretting their hookup.
Now some say that since that will not lead to relationships they get sad and feel used but they intentionally went to the hook up knowing everything beforehand, so?

i think a lot of it has to do with saming women when it comes to sex, same happens with religious people, its like you are brainwashed. Its like you are digusting cause women sholdnt do that and should be a lady, modest and chest. This is generally issue with women even in commitedr elationsips.
Also a lot of times we do things while we are drunk than regret it later. Thats normal behavior for anyone. Sometimes it can happen even i you are not drunk, you do how you felt in a moment but then when you think about it you regret it.
Then sure they may think oh its just a hook up but then develop feelings een tho they thought they wouldn't.
Sex is often bad for a woman in hookups as men tend to be selfish, like wham bam tank u maam. So experience was regretable.
