Why do some guys come off really strong at the beginning even though there’s no sex?

I tell them I won’t have sex until marriage, yet they still come off very strong at the beginning. It’s almost difficult to believe them.

They start talking about how they want to be with me, marriage, kids... how do they know if they like me enough? How do they make up their minds so quickly?

It’s not like they can get much out of me because I’m not gonna have sex.

So I know of two types of guys who do this and I actually fit into one of the two categories I'm going to talk about

The first category is the guy who is just trying to get into your pants he is telling you things trying to seduce you even though you say it's not going to work because in their eyes it still might work because their thought process is that they can wear you down until you think it's a good idea

The second is the guy who legitimately just become emotionally invested a little too fast I unfortunately fall into this category every once in awhile and these guys sound pretty much just like the first category except for while the first category is lying the second category is almost delusional they believe what they're saying but what they're saying is in really poor timing

Most guys like the idea of marriage with a virgin girl, and having children with someone who hasn't been banged by a bunch of other guys, but few are willing to actually be the type of guy these girls marry. It's long, hard work to get to the point, and most of the men who want this ideal don't have the character to actually follow through.

Showing the girl that you can control yourself, be relied on, be affectionate with her without pressuring her into doing what you really want to, and framing your interactions with your families in a way that shows you will join them soon. They could be hoping they can sweettalk you into making you change your mind about no sex by saying things to make you believe they are serious.

They could be saying they want kids and such with whoever they end up marrying, and are hoping that person is you because they want their relationship with you to work out.

Exactly... how? It's called "telling you what you want to hear", and they do this because sometimes it works as women can also lie (play hard to get). Games is all it is.
