Why do some guys like to be called "daddy"?

During sex I called my boyfriend "daddy" for the first time and he came almost instantly. I think it's weirdly hot now, but I used to think it was gross... until I started doing it lol. He said he just likes it, no particular reason. What about other guys, how do you feel about it?

  • To first understand why do men like to be called daddy, we first have to look at what a daddy is to a girl.

A father is one of the most influential people in a girl’s life. For a long time he and her mother are the power, authority and caretaker over her and a great deal of the person she becomes is due to their influence or in some cases lack of influence.

So as we can see the reasons for why a man likes to be called daddy doesn’t have to do with the fact he actually wants to be her father but rather what the father represents.

One of the main themes of being a man in today’s society is being dominant. When a girl calls a man daddy she is essentially giving him a large mental boost implying that he is one of, if not the most dominant man in her life at that moment.

This also is her saying that she agrees to be the submissive one in the relationship at that moment. For some girls being dominated is a great feeling and some men love being the person of dominance.

And this is partly due to Biology.

Wishing you the best of luck.

    • Quite a fancy analysis -- bravo.

  • Maybe some guys do. I think most guys would think it's weird. Not sure. I am not calling any guy "daddy" except for my own fatherm though.

  • I don't know why guys like that I know a guy who likes to be called that all the time I find it weird too

  • Understand that "Daddy" or "Papi" in this context don't refer to your actual father - in other words, he isn't likely getting off on an incest fantasy. Instead, it's used here as a representation of his dominance and her submission - and THAT is what he's responding to.

Many women lacked a strong male role model in their life - even girls who had a dad who played an active role in their life, but perhaps wasn't very masculine or didn't have leadership qualities - and those women often seek out men who are strong, decisive, take-charge guys to be their lovers. And some of those women call their man "daddy" to show that they desire and respect his authority and leadership, and are submissive to his desires.

You can feel any way you want to feel about it, but you should understand that for MOST people who use these terms in a sexual contest, it isn't implying an incestual relationship.

  • I've only had one girl do that, ever.

We were right in the middle of it, and she whispered in my ear, "That's it; fuck me, Daddy."

I have never fallen out of the mood so fast in my life. It was just... creepy. I'm all for people having their kinks, and if a girl wants to do that, I'd indulge her (it doesn't turn me on, but I'd let her do it, if she finds it hot), but I'd kind of like to know in advance.

It was just a "WTF did you just say?" moment, for me.

    • Yeah, I thought it was creepy too at first. I asked him too if I could call him that because I was nervous he would think it was gross, but he was all for it lol. I think I might only find it hot because he finds it hot.

    • I can understand that, and I might even get into it, under similar circumstances, too. Just need to know, beforehand, lol. I've had similar situations, with other fetishes that girls have mentioned to me. I'll do almost anything, if my partner wants to try something.

  • I think it just puts you into a very submissive position. Guys might dig that.

    • It's not so much about incest as power over you and dominance in that case, as pointed out by LadyTerror.

  • Cause if you don't use contraceptive he will be one soon enough :P

    • oh nooo haha

    • Haha haha MHO right here. XD

  • i never seen that, is it sane?

  • I just can't do it. Me and my dad are close. And i call him daddy the shit is just weird to me

  • I suppose it's an extremely submissive thing to do. Which is, probably why he came in an instant :)

If you're an American, and you called me daddy, then I'd be turned off, because it would remind me of crappy tacky American porn. But otherwise, maybe it could be hot ;)

  • Its dominance and it's hot as fuck 😩💦

  • Because some girls fetishize about doing it with their "daddy", and guys fetishize girls fetishizing things.

    • Bleh lol that's the reason I was so reluctant to ask if I could call him that. I just figured other dudes like it and it would be either a hit or miss with him

  • LOVE IT!

  • It's a dominance thing

  • i have never had a girl call me daddy so i can't say, i dont know if i would like it.

  • Because we're creepy

  • I don't know it's just weird.

  • I fucking love it haha. And it's usually because the word "Daddy" is associated with power or large size. The secondary definition of the word "Daddy" is...

the oldest, best, or biggest example of something.
    "the daddy of all potholes"
the best or most successful person.
    noun: the daddy
"it's you who's calling the shots now—you're the daddy"

  • were you drunk? I heard " daddy " on GTA 5 until someone said uh i think he left his mic on accidentally an it got muted.

We were gonna put it on YouTube

    • No haha I don't think he even owns GTA 5/would definitely make sure no gaming mics were on before getting down lol

    • would make for an interesting " try not to laugh " YouTube video :P

  • Because they're weird

  • Dominance

  • We like our girls to be submissive sometimes.

Incest fantasies are more common than you'd think as well.

  • Same I thought it was weird than an ex called me daddy Papi and its hot. Specially when she young enough ;)

  • I used to think it was creepy, till some women who liked it talked about why they liked it. They explained that -for them - it was nothing incest-y. It was more just that deep in their subconscious, 'daddy' meant a big powerful man who can both protect you and discipline you. I remember around that time, my youngest kid, noticing she'd point at random photos of men and say 'daddy'. Daddy was just the word that meant 'grown up man' in her head. I think for some women, that stuck.

I had someone I used to chat with call me daddy after that, and I quite liked it. It has a power imbalance aspect but is still warm and caring.
