Why do some people say it’s transphobic to not want to have a relationship with a trans person? Do you think it’s transphobic?

The vast majority of people in the world are heterosexual and homosexual means to be attracted to people of the same sex.

People can change their physical appearance but nobody can change their biological sex. A trans woman is still a biological male and a trans man is still a biological female.

Also sexual intercourse is something a lot of people want to do in a relationship. I think it’s likely even after surgery a trans woman vagina and a trans man penis wouldn’t be the same as a person born with a vagina and penis.

A trans woman vagina after surgery is made from penis and testicle tissue skin. A trans woman also doesn’t have things like a uterus after surgery.

Im not 100 percent sure about this but I think it’s also may be true a trans man penis after surgery probably has a harder time getting erections compared to a person born with a penis.


Males and females both have hormones but it’s true estrogen is naturally higher in women and testosterone is naturally higher in men. Biological females produce natural estrogen through their ovaries. Trans women do Feminizing hormone therapy because they don’t have ovaries and cannot produce it naturally on the same level as a natal female. Biological males produce testosterone through testes and I think it’s also true trans men do Masculinizing hormone therapy and hormone pills because they likely don’t have proper testes.

I don’t know what would happen if a trans person decided to stop doing hormone therapy.

Trans people take hormones from the opposite sex they are to give themself a more feminine or manly physical appearance? What would happen if they stopped taking those hormones pills and injections?

It doesn’t matter who you are trans, celebrity, not famous, homeless person, rich, poor or not trans. Nobody can change their biological sex. If a trans woman did a a DNA test (genetic testing) it would most likely say male If a trans man did a a DNA test (genetic testing) it would most likely say female Facts don’t care about your feelings

  • No, of course not. That's people using shaming language to push their political agenda, and people need to stop letting people bully them like that.

    There are people who are attracted to trans folks, and that's fine, but they are also a minority, and that isn't going to change. It doesn't mean that people who aren't attracted to them are AFRAID of them (that's the definition of "transphobic), and it doesn't mean that they aren't confident in themselves or any of that other bullshit shaming language. It means that the person is attracted to people who identify as the same sex they were born as. It's no more difficult to understand then that.

    The problem is that pro-trans people think they have a right to demand that other people find trans people attractive, and that's not a right that ANYONE has. But they don't accept that, so they try to bully and shame people into accepting them, which is WRONG and EVIL.

  • I don’t think it’s transphobic at all. It’s not personal. I don’t hate people. As a straight man, I simply just want to be with a real female only.

    The male human body is not meant to transition to female. Same thing the other way around.

    • Its actually very dangerous to take any hormonal therapy. First of all, the male body is not equipped to handle estrogen and the female body not equipped to handle testosterone in unnatural amounts. Secondly, most hormones taken from an extrinsic source are pharmaceutical counterfeits and not handled well by the body. The risk of cancers and other side effects skyrocket!

    • When I googled “what age do trans women stop taking estrogen” It says age 50 Trans people usually start taking estrogen very young like in their teen years

  • I think it is fair to say that you are transphobic if you exclude a person as a potential sex partner only because they are trans. A valid exception would be if you want to have children with your partner.

    Anyway, I would not date a trans person, either, so I suppose I'm transphobic in that respect. In other areas of life I'm of course fine to work and interact with trans people, and everybody can get the pronouns they want.

    By the way, the penis of a trans man usually works hydraulically with pumping liquid into an internal cushion. This is not automatic, but on the positive side it does not depend on arousal or stress level. It also has higher endurance than the natural equipment. (No advertising intended.)

  • Phobic means afraid. Being grossed out isn't the same as fear. So it's not transphobic to not want a relationship with a man who looks like a woman.

Transgender people suffer from a mental illness in the same way that aneorexic people suffer from a mental illness. No, I would never have sex with a man trying to look like a woman.

    The majority of heterosexual men and women will not want to have sex with their own sex. For some, them dressing, styling themselves more like the other sex, acting like the other sex, taking hormones like the other sex is enough for them to view them as a sexual partner but the majority will not.

Trash cans always looking for a dumpster to put their garbage in, so brave so brave. People need to stop being soft like a cookie sprinkle and then they’ll realize it’s not as deep as they think. Man is man, woman is woman. Literally black and white. You just have to keep a strong mental and counter their assaults like Meliodas using Full Counter from The Seven Deadly Sins.
