  • I am a straight woman, and prefer lesbian porn for a few reasons. So let me explain.

    Why is it so appealing? Almost all heterosexual porn is conditioned to male fantasy and male fantasy can be scary. I don’t want to watch a girl being aggressively fisted up the bum, it petrifies me. Lesbian porn is less threatening: it’s safe, non intrusive and, generally, fairly gentle and sensual.

  • I think some straight women like to watch lesbian porn because it's more delicate, softer and it focuses on two or more women getting pleasure. They can relate to it. While straight porn is usually focused on men's pleasure.
    I believe that some of these women might be interested in having sex with another woman in real life, yes, But not all, some might watch it just for the reasons I mentioned.
    I guess that women are not all deep down attracted to each other. What I think is that we are more open about sex and also about our preferences than men. Plus, we have a different relationship with each other. The same doesn't happen with men, because it's not acceptable by society.

  • I dont know. But the notion that lesbian porn is not tailored to male fantasies is wrong because men are the biggest consumer of porn, not appealing to men is simply not maximizing profits. Porn is an industry like any other, so why would they appeal to not the biggest group of their consumers? Everything business that is also pop culture seeks to appeal to an as big as audience as possible thus that would be men. Women watching lesbian porn and claiming to be straight are simply in denial.
