Why do teen guys and younger guys masturbate more than girls?

Ok so a little honesty on my part. Yes, I have had sex, handjobs etc. and love them like any teen guy. But like any horny 18 yr old guy, I masturbate at least daily. I know my guy friends do the same and it seems like many guys here on GAG also are like this. Some past girlfriends and what I seem to read here on GAG is that the same age girls do not masturbate nearly as much. Just wondering and am curious about any honest opinions on why or why not!

Testosterone is a sexual hormone that affects libido. While girls produce testosterone it is at a much lower level than guys. Most of our testosterone is made in our testes. So we have a lot more testosterone in our bodies than they do which increases our libido.
