Why do we allow men to be sexual beings but not women?

I am coming from a perspective of a Christian woman, but my point still stands. Men sleep around and nobody labels them as promiscuous. They m*sturbate during puberty and people laugh it off like it’s normal without shame. Women sleep around and suddenly they’re “losing their value”. They can’t show any form of sexual desire. I personally am abstinent, but I couldn’t care less if another woman doesn’t share my beliefs and chooses to do that, why should they receive animosity for that? I know the answer is basically patriarchal society, but I also wish people would wake up and change their thinking.

  • let’s say for example you’re a lock protecting some valuable information and your the only one that has the passcode however you decide to give it out to lot of people and as more people know about it the more the less valuable it becomes since so many people already know what about it not to mention people talking about the information outside of the area that was locked and as more people talk more people know about it and then the information has little to no value left (I’m still a teenager so don’t hate me for this comprises or anything like that I probably could have explained it better but I didn’t feel like speeding 5-10 minutes writing it) Moving on to the male perspective, many women believe that a man's ability to have numerous sexual relationships indicates some form of value or attractiveness. As he accumulates more experiences it sparks curiosity among women making them wonder what makes him so appealing and consequently some might be more inclined to pursue a relationship with him. (So all in all that’s what I came up anyways)

  • It's form to try to control women, which doesn't make any sense since if a man is promiscuous then that means the women he is sleeping with are going to be promiscuous since most men are heterosexual.

    women have historically selected for men who are taller, stronger, dominant, more promiscuous etc. as partners. it ain't men's fault women choose those men

    this wouldn't be an issue if women put more emphasis on a guy's body count instead of his height, his jawline, his money, his social status etc.

    men are the ones who receive the most animosity for not wanting to be with promiscuous women and they don't have to be nor forced or shamed into being with one

    shouldn't wake a sleeping giant and then plead innocence when that giant retaliates

    • no the patriarchy isn't upheld by men because the majority of men throughout history and even today can be classified as "losers" who are socially ranked beneath women per the natural order of life. male sperm is unlimited and expendable. female eggs are limited and valuable but the sperm of top quality males are extremely rare and valuable hence the "patriarchy" men were mostly peasants, merchants, soldiers or slaves. the less than 10% of men were kings, emperors, warlords who got the most women. women can change social status by marrying a rich man. men can not change social status by marrying a rich woman today there's more men working into low paying jobs, more men in prisons, more men who are homeless than there are hot, rich, famous men. lawyers, doctors, engineers, pro-athletes, CEOs are only a small percentage of the total male population. women can easily skip the queue given how the criminal court/family court laws favor them more than men. powerful men require multiple MeToo accusations to take them down. the average man/below average man stands no choice women's preferences for men come from women themselves and has been the same throughout history. even in the wild, the strongest, fastest, most dominant males are selected by the vast majority of females in many societal mammalian species the giant analogy is a metaphor for when women get offended at men's preferences, accuse them of hate and anger when it's not true and then the men retaliate

    • I’m unsure if you know what patriarchal society is based on your answer. I don’t mean to be insulting at all, but this conversation won’t be worth having if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Also “Women’s preferences come from women themselves” …. None of our preferences come from thin air regardless of sex. There’s no point me trying to help you see that until you are well informed on that. Thanks for replying though!

  • It’s a lot harder for a man to be able to sleep around with multiple women than a woman to sleep around with multiple men. It’s just the way things are. Women are the gatekeepers of sex. The average guy can’t go to a bar and get laid that night so the men who can are viewed as successful.


    But regardless, plenty of people frown on promiscuity regardless of gender. there is some evidence that the more women sleep around, the harder it is for them to bond with a partner. I believe this is true, but I also think it is for men as well. Most of the guys I knew that were really into one nights stands in our early 20’s are still sleeping around in their 30’s.

I also come from a Christian conservative society where there is no sex without marriage... Now, in my opinion, the main reason for that is the spread of atheism and because of the Masonic ideas that will destroy the world after being ruled by the Freemasons. They spread homosexuality and a lot of dirty things through the use of the authorities of some Western countries and churches unfortunately

It is the power of group opinion I will try to explain this to you. The strength of the opinion of the group is when five people gather, for example, and one of them said a ridiculous and incomprehensible joke, but they are the 4 who laughed. Here the fifth person laughs to walk with them to be like them, so that he is not different or wrong according to his belief.

  • I think it has become more accepted. However, I think weather if you wait for marriage or not it's no problem to recognize that men and women are sexual beings. And if you do choose to wait, both people need to be very open to what they expect from each other.
