Why do women talk about sex less than men?

A lot of it is context on what is being talked about.

guys from school age, tend to brag or over egg things, what it was like what happened.

they will often go on about how they love big boobs etc, whereas in reality they love small ones, however among their peer group it’s known you only talk about big boobs.

then there is humour and jokes, these are basically about women and sex from a guys point of view.

culture comes in to it, a guy talking about sexy girls is normal

a girl talking about sexy guys etc, can lead someone to label her a slut.

the movie Grease where they tall their friends about who they met on holiday and what they got up to is a good example.

They've been taught from very early on that, for a girl to openly talk about sex or how much she really wants it, it'll make her look like a whore or a slut so, she shouldn't talk about it at all. They also tend to have much less need for sex and are also afraid that if they talk about it around men, it'll make the men horny and want to fuck them even more, which leads to the possibility of them either getting pregnant or being raped. And, because they are also taught that men don't have as much self-control, sexually, and, though easily aroused, will much more easily act on those feelings and, probably, take advantage of any woman around.

It's just society that has always made it seem taboo for a woman to enjoy sex too much. Even gag is full of haters lined up waiting to jump a woman for expressing her sexuality with degrading words such as scank whore b! tch or Slut.
It's the world we live in
But in actually I have a feeling we women do speak about it just more closed knit.

I might be wrong but I think because women don't really orgasm during sex. Men HAVE to orgasm in order to make the baby so they always feel pleasure from it. Again, this is from my own experience, I only orgasmed once throughout my lifetime and I had to use a vibrator. So they enjoy it more, although I really like sex too. It can feel really good sometimes.

Because men don't get sex so when they have their 2-minute ordeal they think they are instead and they have to brag about it. It doesn't matter if it lasted 30 seconds 2 hours they got to let everybody know that they just got in that girl's pants

at least in my experience... 95% of the sex talk I have is with women...

and 5% is with men, at the most...

maybe the same is happening with you? I just never cared to speak about sex with men... lol, I did that with girls with women, so maybe I could have had that wrong impression that women are open to talk about sex while men are not... but that would not be true, the truth is that I just didn't care to talk about sex, with men.

You haven't met many men, then; this is one of the biggest misconceptions women have about men. Men straight up don't talk about sex; we just don't do it. We don't care about our buddy's sex life and we don't want to talk about our own. Women, on the other hand talk about sex with the kind of XXX detail you'd expect from a Brazzers documentary.

As some have already correctly mentioned , women are tired of having it thrown in their faces by men , it's on tap if wanted if you are a woman , with unlimited sex partners. Also , female sex drive is typically much lower than the male , esp in younger age groups , testosterone levels combined with brain wiring are why. Glad to be rid of most of my Male Curse , as a single dad , it's a huge blessing.

Who says they do? If you read about women to understand them better you see they talk just as much as men. I believes it depends more on the induvial person than their sex. Its what has influenced that person in their upbringing, lifestyle, social environment, and religious beliefs. It all impacts how open a person is and plays into how much they share in a conversation and the topics discussed. Just my thoughts.
