Why do women try to fight the losing battle about virginity?

Not every guy, but the large majority of men would prefer to have a relationship with a virgin. This isn't new, if you look at ancient civilizations men valued this very much. Today, women try to shame men into not wanting that.

Why can't you just accept that's what is most desirable? It doesn't mean non-virgins can't be desired. But virgin women have more value than non virgin ones.

  • Because it's a long standing double standard that it's ok for men to have tons of sex without being shamed but women who do it are disgusting. Virginity is a social construct. There is no way to prove someone is a virgin or not unless you were there or have like evidence that they had sex. You literally can't tell just by looking at someone if they're a virgin or not because it is purely a social construct. Virgins aren't more valuable than non-virgins. Virgins can have tons of reasons for staying virgins. Religious reasons, health reasons, and social issues. Or maybe they just couldn't get laid. I don't think we should shame non-virgins and promiscuous women either. What is wrong with women liking dick (and/or vagina in the case of LGBTQ) and orgasms. People are literally designed to want sex, so why do we shame women for wanting to be pleasured and satisfied? Fuck virginity. I don't give a damn about my virginity. The only reason I'm still a virgin is cause I haven't met a guy I want to fuck yet. I'm picky.

In my opinion gals are fighting a losing battle about male hypocrisy as I find guys just stick to double standards and hypocrisy that suits them.

    I don't think it's about not accepting what is most desirable but not accepting the insults, degradation, etc that comes with not being a virgin. No different than I imagine many guys could accept small/average dicks, being short, being fat/bald, being shy, being socially awkward, etc aren't most desirable much less desirable if it didn't come with insults/degradation.

  • Women have a group interest in lowering male standards and expectations as much as possible. The idea is that men have a need to perform and work out or have a career, etc, but women "are accepted just as they are" and don't have to work to be praised. In other words, women want to see this become more standard
