Why do younger girls like older dudes? Daddy issues?
The older I’m getting the more attention I get from younger girls, I’m close to 40 and whenever I go out and there are younger girls, 20 to 27, they give me eyes and is not uncommon to hook up or date. Daddy issues?

What Girls & Guys Said
18 13Not bc of that. It's that younger dudes these days are bums and expect women to pay their way. They aren't real men
That makes a lot of sense
If that’s you in your picture, I can absolutely see why! I don’t think it’s necessarily daddy issues. Older men have power, money and usually a lot of confidence. Confidence is incredibly sexy.
Lol, not my pic but def my style just with more salt on my hair!😜
Even sexier 😉
Thanks 😘
You’re welcome 😊
THEY need things
& he has money
Always
Ugh don't use the term "daddy issues." It's just a way to blame/shame the girl for having an abusive or neglectful father.
To answer your question, maybe they like the maturity or stability of dating an older guy. I dunno, I'm not really attracted to guys over 30 myself.
Yeah, maybe not a great term.. I actually didn’t know it refers to abusive or neglectful fathers.. that’s sad
Typically, yeah. It refers to girls who didn't have great relationships with their fathers (or whose fathers left them) who are promiscuous or sleep with older men as a result. I've just heard it too many times, since my father was abusive and I went through a brief period of promiscuity (slept with two guys I wasn't in a relationship with, about 4 months apart). People would intend it as an insult, as if I should be ashamed that my dad was an asshole. Sorry if I jumped down your throat, I've just had enough of it.
No offense taken, completely understandable! Sorry you went through that!
