Why does it hurt inside when I spread my legs?

Im a transgender male (male with vagina) and i had my first time recently - i just dont get one thing, why does it hurt inside when my partner goes in while my legs are spread? When theyre not spread everything goes well and it just hurts a little bit

How can i make the pain go away? I tried to streach (?) Myself out but it always hurts the same :( im healthy i been to a doctor many times and she said everything is okay

Is that maybe a problem inside the brain? Like does being transgender is the problem?

Should we just try more and the pain will go away with time? We tired only 3 times

Please help

  • Hey man, first of all don't stress too much - pain during sex is super common, especially the first few times. A few things that may help:

    - Make sure you're really aroused and stimulated before anything goes in. Take your time with foreplay. Rushing things will make it hurt more.

    - Use lots of lube. More lube than you think you need. It helps everything slide together more comfortably down there.

    - Try different positions. On your sides with knees bent or you on top may give you more control at first. Being on your back with legs spread can feel more vulnerable.

    - Go slow. Like, painfully slow. Rushing will tense you up inside and cause pain. Ease into it gradually inch by inch.

    - Tell your partner to let you set the pace at first. Don't let them deep thrust until you're ready.

    - It may just take some time for your body to adjust. Keep things relaxed and don't pressure yourself to hurry up the process either.

    - See a doc if the pain persists after trying different things. Could be a minor issue they can help with.

But don't stress - you're totally normal! Being trans probably isn't the cause. With patience it'll get better. Keep communicating with your partner and don't be afraid to tell them exactly what feels good. You've got this!

  • Didn't spreading your legs for male with penis makes you feel female? you think that you have mental block? you might have some kind of vaginismus. Whatever the problem is physical or mental it's not healthy. When the legs are not spread it hurt less? then it sounds like it more about the leg spreading than it about the penetration itself, maybe you should be doing yoga to get used to streaching or maybe you should get drunk, to try to bypass a mental block if there is one. You used to be virgin not long ago, and it fairly normal for a virgin to feel pain, maybe 3 times was not enough for you to get used, and yea you can always keep trying, maybe it would stop be painful at some point, with practice.

    • cis males (the ones with penis) spread legs too - it depends on the position me and my partner dont drink that much we're having really healthy type of life with no smoking alcohol or other stuff so i we will pass on that ill try the yoga tho! it sounds like good idea - thank you

    • Amazon position? anyway glad to help, you have an interesting story.

  • There are two sexes which are male and female. The body is part of biology. The male sex is the group that is born with a penis or testicles. These are sexual organs.
Therefore anyone with a vagina (who isn’t intersex) cannot be biologically male.

    • All trans men are female. They don’t have male sexual organs and I guessing most of them likely don’t have male sex chorosomnes as well. You can do DNA test for this but you can’t see a persons chromosomes with the human eye.

    • yes there are two sexes and being transgender isn't creating a newsex and i do respect your opinion but this is not answer to my question

    • Have you got a tampon stuck in there. Maybe if you are not flexible enough it hurts to stretch
