It's pheromones. Laying next to you, he's breathing in your scent, and most likely your body's pheromones are the right chemistry for him. Everyone has them, and everyone smells different.

People are just like animals. It's similar to when a female dog goes into heat and attracts a male dog, except with people, they get attracted to each other's scent. You will notice if you haven't yet, his breathing will increase around you too, and he may even grow restless.

You could try wearing a stronger perfume to throw off your body's scent, but I wouldn't recommend it, it might make him lose interest in you.

But anyway, pheromones. That's why he's getting hard around you.
