Why does my boyfriend make gay jokes about either him being gay or me being gay?

there's been a few times where my boyfriend has made comments about him being gay and proud of his sexuality and then makes jokes about me being a lesbian and just things like that

It mostly sounds like its just his sense of humor, with a slight hint of him wanting you to sleep with another girl (same with 90% of all men in relationships). I wouldn't think too much into it unless you see him staring at guys or making sexual comments about other guys.

I see people do that all the time.. i do it, my friends do it (male, female, etc.) We literally make these dumbass jokes all the time, maybe he is just comfortable with his sexuality enuff to say these things?
