Why does my boyfriend want me to have sex with him while he is asleep?

So my boyfriend (19) and I (F 18) were talking about experimenting in bed. When he suggested the idea that I should have sex with him while he is fast asleep. I was kinda confused as to why he would want that. But he told me it’s so when he wakes up he can feel pleasure and happiness from seeing me do stuff to him right as he wakes up. I was wondering does anyone else do this with their partner and is this normal? Also is there some other reason he also wants this?
Cus I tried to look everywhere for an answer and I couldn’t find one lol.

Superb Opinion

  • Generally, when you find yourself wondering if something is "normal" in a social sense, it's a sign that something's gone wrong somewhere- usually, that you're overthinking it. But it can also be a sign that you're being asked to do something that freaks you out, which I'm guessing is the case here. So, why does he want you to do it? Well, he probably has a kink for it, or thinks it sounds nice (which is pretty much what a kink is, before you try it). Maybe he thinks it'll lead to interesting dreams.

I don't think it's a sign that he's crazy or anything, if that's what you're worried about. Sure, at first mental glance, it sounds almost abusive; it's not like he can give proper consent at the time, but remember that this is something he ASKED for, and you can always stop doing it if it bothers you, or he asks you to. The idea is that he STARTS OUT asleep, not that he stays that way.

I also don't think it's a particularly uncommon thing, at least as a fantasy; I once had a girlfriend who was even more of a zombie in the morning than I am, and since I always got up first, I thought it might be nice to lick her awake in passing. Why? Because it seemed to me like that'd be a good way to wake up; there really wasn't any deeper intention behind it.

Most Helpful Guy

  • I've woken up to a blowjob once, it was fantastic. If it's what he's into then go for it, I don't see it doing any harm.

Most Helpful Girl

  • What that means is that he has a rape fantasy. That is something toxic because deep inside, it signifies that he would experience the feeling of being sexually assaulted.

I honestly believe that you should distance yourself from this wish because it clearly indicates that something is not ticking right in his mind.

A rape fantasy could have been triggered by a memory or a traumatic experience in the past. I sincerely believe that your boyfriend should go down to the bottom of that problem and perhaps talk with a specialist about the causes and origin of his sexual fantasy. That is absolutely not normal.
