Why does my friends with benefits buy me stuff?

We’ve been friends for years and just became friends with benefits recently. He bought me some sex toys and wants to buy me anything else I may need for them or whatever else. It’s really nice especially since I’m short on money right now but I’m just wondering why he’s going out of his way to buy me all this. I wish I could do the same for him.

My guess is that he's trying to keep you around. My friends with benefits has bought me a lot of toys.
