Why does our society say that men are of no value and must earn their place while women have intrinsic value from the beginning?

When we look at society at the beginning of a young boy's life he is told by society that he has no value.

He must show earn his value by working hard in school, going to the gym to build muscles, accumulating resources, forming strong social network and when all that is done a girl will decide if he has met her requirements for a relationship.

On the flip side. While a man is slaving away building his castle. Our society sees no problem with a girl just being allowed to enter the castle gates, with a carpet rolled out for her. In other words many women just expect that when a man has put himself in a good position that they do not need to show their worth to him because they are already worthy from being born with a vagina. They can enter his life at any time and be worthy for a relationship despite not being there for him when he was working building his castle.

Women are inherently more Machiavellian in how they approach the world, men aren't. For this reason alone society isn't as tuned to your average ditch digging male or dude working at McDonalds, because he hasn't got the social know-how to advance without advancing.

Evolutionary reasons. One men can impregnate hundreds and thousands of women thus a mans life is based a lot more on competition and is a lot more disposable.

Thus a woman has worth on the merit of existing, being healthy and fertile. Men do need to compete and prove their worth. Men do have other advantages in life that women do not have though and thus it balances itself out.

On a side note. We have many employers/universities having special bias to hire women/have female only scholarship to encourage more young women to get into the university.
