I’m genuinely concerned for the dudes that connect hymen to virginity. Like was your sex education that bad in school ( I mean it probably was because sex ed in most places is absolute garbage) the hymen is a piece of tissue that is stretchy and flexible, crescent or ring shaped. It can have one or more holes to allow blood through naturally. The hymen can break through everyday activities like exercise or inserting a tampon. Yes sex is how STDs spread; some can also spread through blood. Safe sex is encouraged. And no, I suppose it depends on country but STDs don’t discriminate based on gender. If you haven’t had sex with anyone then how do you know women have more? Are you getting your information from other dudes that could potentially have been sleeping around and gave their partner a disease but blamed her or do you have actual scientific proof. Women are objectified from childhood and our media portrays attractiveness as thin which spurs eating disorders, mental health illnesses, and some girls commit suicide because they can’t achieve it. It portrays attractive with a specific look which results in cosmetic surgeries. And for some they never get validation so they seek it from others who don’t give a damn about them. Media fucks with dudes too, no gender is exempt. Men are expected to be providers and they’re portrayed as tall, rich and handsome putting undue pressures on them as well. @Red_Arrow tearing in childbirth is because women are NEVER suppose to push yet doctors force them too. Given birth 3 times and never tore and 0 pushing. Doctors do this so they can force women to have babies faster

@Red_Arrow also episiotomies are not commom anymore. I refuse to give birth at a hosptial that had high rates of those or c sections. I will not be cut during birth. There is a reason why at home births almost no women tear. They actually give birth the proper way
