Why don't all pretty/hot girls, become porn stars?

I get that people have their beliefs and all that but to be a porn star, you have to be freaking hot, right? Well why wouldn't you want to be paid to have sex, legally?

  • It doesn't have to do with "morals", "self-respect" or all that moralist crap. It's about vocation and preferences. You could as well ask "Why don't all pretty/hot girls, become lawyers?". and the answer would be the same: because not everyone feels attracted to the career or are ok with the job requirements.

    Being a porn star, or prostitute or stripper (which are very different from each other but people often see them as similar) are all rough and demanding jobs. Or do you think their lifes are just party and fun? On the contrary, it can be very stressful and tiring and people often don't give them the respect they should get.

    Imagine urself as a prostitute. U think it's an easy life to have sex with some drunk, unattractive people until you're completely out of energy and having to pretend you're enjoying it?

    Or being a stripper and having all those desperate, middle-age, married needy men/women putting their dirty hands ( you can only imagine where they had been) on you?

    It's no picnic, it's a rough job. And let's not forget, they rarely have the labour rights they should have. Many of them develop injuries from overwork and ocupational diseases.

    If anything, i'd imagine being a pornstar kind of ruins the whole point of sex. What's supposed to be intimate and pleasurable is just reduced to a job.

Well one these "hot girls" wouldn't be having sex with they're SO, husband, or boyfriend. anything else I list I guess would conflict with your "beliefs" part, even tho that's a major issue here to, because sex is special for some of us still. They could choose a rough, degrading career as a porn star, which would ruin their chances for employment elsewhere and estrange them from their friends and family, or they could marry a rich dude with money and live in the lap of luxury.

  • Why would they do that when they could be models. They'd still use their bodies for profit but it's not quite as degrading or dangerous as the porn industry.
