Lots of us enjoy going down on our girls, actually. But, yes, some men don't, and for several reasons. I don't AGREE with their reasons, but I can at least understand where SOME of them are coming from, and others I think they are just selfish.

Some guys think giving a woman oral is unmanly or weak, and threatens their masculinity (I obviously don't agree).

Some guys have a literal fear of vaginas.

Some guys have had a bad experience with a girl who wasn't clean/wasn't healthy, and they are scarred for life. LOL.

Some guys have NO IDEA what the anatomy is down there and KNOW that they have no idea what they're doing, and they're afraid to be exposed as being ignorant. Most guys feel like they're expected to be sex experts from Day 1, and that every "real man" knows what they're doing, and if a guy feels like he can't live up to that expectation, some of them are afraid that the woman will insult him and emasculate him for not knowing what he's doing. (This one I understand - it's also one that can be pretty easily solved.)

And some guys are just selfish and self-centered, and they're good-looking enough, popular enough, high status-enough, or wealth enough that they know they can get away with being completely selfish... because most women will put up with it in order to try to "keep them." In my lifetime, I've probably ran across around 50 guys - all good-looking, popular "player" types, who have talked openly about sex and it's VERY clear by their descriptions that they're completely selfish in bed and care absolutely NOTHING about the woman's experience - it probably never even occurred to them to think about it.

To be fair, I've encountered FAR more who loved giving girls oral and some who bragged about their skills, etc. Still, I've definitely known a bunch of guys who were very selfish and self-centered, and knew they could get away with it, because the women would rather have a hot, high-status guy than have a guy who respected her in the bedroom.

I think some guys only care about their own needs and others are grossed out by female anatomy. They don't mind getting their dick wet, but when it comes to their mouth, lol.

If these guys would just take their time and give it a chance. When I first ate a girl out, I was scared to death. I had no idea what I was doing, but I kept moving my tongue to different areas to see what she liked.

People that find the human body gross, but are OK with making genitals the exception, shouldn't be having sex.
