Why don't guys scream when they orgasm?

I've only ever heard of girls being loud when having sex and I've wondered why guys are generally more quiet. Doesn't it feel the same for them?

  • Guys are notoriously easier to get off, but girls have better orgasms.

    Guys are also a lot more stoic than women are. Revealing weakness or excess emotion is considered an un-manly thing to do, and moaning is exactly that: Excess emotion.

    I assume why women moan when men don't is for this exact reason. Women are more comfortable about releasing themselves, and the feeling of sex can (potentially) feel better than what a man would feel.
    Not always, though. Women are a lot less consistent on enjoying sex than men are.

    • @FatherJack There is some evidence that female orgasms do improve the chance of conception. It seems that the cervix sticks out a little... plunger... thing (?) that is believed to try and pull in semen. The idea here is that men who are capable of pleasing a woman are either high in testosterone or intelligence, or potentially both (meaning the man has good genes and is worth having children with).

  • Female orgasms (all 3 types) are way more powerful and intense than male orgasm.
    We have a quick few seconds at the end, but in general it is nothing compared to a female orgasm.
    You have twice as many nerve endings in just your clitoris than we have over our entire genital area, and you have over 11 thousand over the rest of your genital areas.

  • I think it's because they don't feel THAT good. I mean, uncontrolled shaking because of the intense feeling happens from time to time, uncontrolled moaning or even screaming just isn't in it. I also think many men are uncomfortable with moaning during sex because it makes them feel effeminate or somethink. It's like "men don't cry" and all this stuff.
