Why Every Straight Man and Woman Should Go Gay At Least Once

For the purposes of this article both men and women will be referred to as gay, instead of applying the gay and/or lesbian label to prevent the myTake from getting cluttered.

Warning: This is probably one of the gayest articles you will have ever read on this site, including images that you may or may not be comfortable with seeing. So if you have a problem with any of these then I suggest you stop reading right here.

Why Every Straight Man and Woman Should Go Gay At Least Once

Let's face it everyone is curious to know what it feels like to be with someone of the same sex, and that's nothing to be ashamed of.

Human sexuality is fascinating and far less straightforward than most of us assume, or perhaps would prefer.

There is nothing wrong with a good old cuddle session with your bro, getting off to gay porn or taking it in the butt. It's all relative. It's time we moved on from our preconceived notions of sexuality and finally accept the beauty of being gay. I dream of a world where everyone is bisexual and accepting your own gayness is the first step to achieving this.

Satisfying your own curiosity

Any self-identifying straight man or woman who says they never once thought about what it might be like to bed another person of the same sex is lying. It’s natural to feel curious about things that are that are foreign to you, including getting prodded by foreign intrusions.

Getting outside of our comfort zone is the first step to experiencing a whole new world of pleasure. That’s how we learn and grow. So why not stop fantasizing and actually give it a college try? Remember: If you don’t like it, you’ll never have to do it again.

More than half of women are attracted to other women

Most women are naturally bi-curious when it comes to sex.

It is said often that women's friendships are barely distinguishable from romantic relationships and for the most part it is true. You're only deluding yourself if you think otherwise.

Socializing, chatting on the phone for hours, snuggling during chick flicks, uncanny comfort-ability around other naked women etc. And to top it all of guys don't know a woman's body as well as another woman does... considering they are of the opposite sex and all, but still, they can't just compete with someone who knows the owner's manual.

Experience being penetrated

Straight men are used to doing the penetrating. But ever wondered what it might feel like to be on the receiving end?

True, the first time can be a bit shocking, and you’ll need need to prepare with some stretching and cleaning. (A new jock strap never hurts either.) But as long as you remember to breathe, you’ll be fine. And when it’s over, not only will you have experienced the most mind-blowing, earth-shattering orgasm of your life, but you’ll walk away with a greater understanding of what sex feels like for your female counterparts. Men are lucky to have a prostate and to think most men will never experience an orgasm from anal is not only insulting to your prostate as a whole being under utilized but also to women who will never get to experience two different kinds of orgasms.

People of the same sex make excellent lovers

You know those filthy things you see in porn that kinda turn you on but that you would never actually ask your girlfriend or boyfriend to try because they’d probably think you’re a total pervert? Well, we’ll do it! All you have to do is ask.

When it comes to sexual inhibitions, many gay people, well, lack them. Not only do they make excellent lovers but they're also more open to experimentation and trying new things.

You might like it

Remember when you were a kid and you said you hated Brussels sprouts, even though you had never really tried them, then when you were adult you realized that, actually, Brussels sprouts are pretty delicious, especially when tossed with olive oil and roasted?

The same could very well apply to gay sex. You may take a dip in the bi pond and realize it’s actually a ton of fun. And, no, just because you tried it once and kinda liked it doesn’t make you gay. You’re more than welcome to go back to your straight “lifestyle” in the morning.

No one's gonna judge you for it.

  • As a bisexual, I think this is crazy... and offensive. To both gay and straight people. It doesn't help with the notion people have that you aren't really born gay. It also doesn't help with the paranoia people have that a gay agenda being pushed. Paranoid homophobic people already believe gays are trying to force them into being gay, this article does not help one bit. By the way, I didn't read, just going by the title alone.

  • "No one's gonna judge you for it."

i've heard from many homosexual friends that one of the most insulting things is when a straight person just tries out homosexual practices without actually being homosexual. it's like trying on a pair of shoes just because other people wear them but those other people don't have a choice in wearing those shoes.

    • your gay friends sound really immature. many people experiment with their sexuality, there's nothing insulting about that.

    • @thewanderingme no my gay friends are actually very mature. but thanks for casting judgment. i think if a person has an interest in experimenting than they should. but experimentation just for experimentation sake is not really right. by that logic everyone should try drugs, polygamy, polyamory, etc. etc

    • What other reason is there to experiment? Isn't the reason built right into the definition, curiousity? So experimenting for the sake of experimenting is exactly why anyone experiments. I'm sorry some people aren't as aware of their sexual preferences as others and want to experiment for the sake of it. How is having an interest in experimenting different from experimenting for the sake of it? What's wrong with trying on shoes of people that don't have a choice of shoes? Isn't it good to see how other people live. Most things in the world are done by other people. It typically comes to our attention when we see others partake. So most of us are doing things just because others are doing it. I guess I'm just confused by the shoe example. Were you insulted because she judged your homosexual friends? Because your homosexual friends seem to be casting the same type of judgement. I'm curious why you felt it necessary to mention that.

  • Hahaha WTF. This is just ridiculous. If you want to just test it out, then you dont jump in the deep end straight away. Maybe just try a kiss on lips first if you wanted to see what it was like. If you didn't like it then you just saved yourself a traumatic experience which you will probably never forget if you are straight.

  • "Men are lucky to have a prostate... women who will never get to experience two different kinds of orgasms"
I do! Clit and G-spot (penetration or fingers)

  • Sorry but that is just freaking disgusting. It also is more proof of how "fluid" women are when it comes to sex. Most women would not be grossed out by kissing a woman friend on the lips. No straight guy is going to kiss any guy on the lips, much less take a dick in the ass. Sorry but your beyond crazy.

    • I would be weirded out (not grossed out) if a FRIEND kissed me on the lips, regardless of gender, and I'm bisexual. Boyfriend/girlfriend/hot dude/chick down the road, fuck yeah, but not a friend

    • @FallOutBoy2001 I have asked several women over the years the same question: Your at a bar. A guy at the bar says he will pay for your drinks the entire night if you and your friend (woman) kiss on the lips for 2 min. not just pecks, full on kissing. every woman said "why not, it is just a kiss" 99.99999999% of straight guys would never even do a peck much less kiss.

    • not saying 100% of women would. there are always exceptions to the rule. just saying I have never found one that wouldn't

  • Em... no. I've never ever EVER and never will be curious of having sex with the same gender. If you say "everyone" well shieeet!. I dunno what category I'd fall In cause I know as fucking sure as possible I am all 100% men. 😋😍. So... I'm out.

  • I thought being gay is not a choice? It who they are at the moment they are born. It not a lifestyle choice like suddenly deciding that you're going to go vegan or some bs.

  • I think your mistake was to try to convince people who didn't want to be convinced. Some minds are closed even to introspection. I get what you are saying. I cannot say I fully agree, but I see where you are going. I have always been curious about experimenting the world through a woman's eyes. If I could borrow a woman's body for a month or a year, I would do it. Simply because I am curious about what it means to be a woman and how different is the world when you are a woman. Without being exactly what you meant, I think it is not too far from it. While I can understand that some people might be open to the idea of trying gay sex, not everybody is. Not because they are not open minded but because they don't feel the need to experiment it. Their sexuality is very clear to them and they have no interest in other individuals of the same sex. I think the need to experience gay sex is not as ubiquitous as you may have thought.

  • I prefer to stay straight because
    1) I'm straight and
    2) I like being able to not be lying when I say I've never done gay stuff

  • I've tried it. It doesn't work for me very well. Taking it in the ass is okay for enhancing masturbation. But I couldn't build my lifestyle around it.

  • I love this Mytake!! I always wanted to experiment maybe in college hopefully

  • I'm gay, but why do I find this take just a little insulting?

I turned it around: every gay should go straight at least once. And then I thought to meself...

Fuck no🙅🏼 there's no way in hell I'd sleep with a guy. I find less than nothing appealing about that prospect and I imagine it's probably the same thing for straight people.

I get what your saying, but that's the wrong way about it. People need to just leave everyone's sexual preferences alone and stop pushing societal norms on everyone else.

  • Thanks, but no thanks.

    • AHAHAHAHHA

  • Some people have gay tendencies and some do not. There's nothing wrong with not being gay or not wanting to try it. Remember when people used to say being gay was a choice? Well it isn't, right? Neither is being straight. Or bi-sexual. People should not feel pressured to try something they have no interests in trying.

  • No thank you...

  • I agree and share your views. Being woman I know well that my gender fellows knows better about sensitive and sensual parts of body, so they are best partner. Moreover they are not in hurry of discharging like men which leaving very often a woman unsatisfied.

  • I consider this many a time and have come out at bi to my best friend. I've always wondered if I'd rather kiss a guy or a girl

  • Nope, I've never been gay or bi-curious. That's mostly stuff women go after, which I myself wrote a Take about why I'm not into bi's and lesbians.

Sexual experimentation is mostly a female thing because females are often more insecure with their sexuality than men, and any woman who wants/has to try it out doesn't really have the courage or woman-ness to actually be in a good relationship with a man. In my opinion.

    • No, it's not that. It's just that the beauty of the woman's body is literally emphasized, and focused on in every drama, movie, and magazine shelf, or news site; in contrast to the ideal male body type. So naturally, a women growing up around this barrage of endless sexualization would get aroused over another woman's bodily beauty just out of the pure eroticism. It's a natural reaction caused by a subconscious process. Doesn't necessarily mean she wants to have sex with the woman, it's just that her body REMINDS her of sex, so to speak.

    • @Alaela no, i see posters of hot ripped male athletes around my gym, on lots of sites and daily and i have never felt even a single need to fk any of them , so your argument is invalid, u are insecure and lack the the common sense to actually date men if you are aroused cause you saw lots of hot women as a kid.

    • @CoolSky01 Of course you would AROUND THE GYM. That's the whole point of the gym, to encourage people to buff themselves up. So, your argument is invalid. Also, sure there may be some males on the side, but 90% are females. Either link me to a news site where there are more sexualized males, your your argument is invalid. I never mentioned having the urge to "fk" them. I actually said "Doesn't necessarily mean she wants to have sex with the woman". Are you acting this stupid on purpose? Lecturing me about "common sense".. Pfft, get off your high horse, child.
