It also doesn't help with the paranoia people have that a gay agenda being pushed. i've heard from many homosexual friends that one of the most insulting things is when a straight person just tries out homosexual practices without actually being homosexual. it's like trying on a pair of shoes just because other people wear them but those other people don't have a choice in wearing those shoes.

What other reason is there to experiment? Isn't the reason built right into the definition, curiousity? So experimenting for the sake of experimenting is exactly why anyone experiments. I'm sorry some people aren't as aware of their sexual preferences as others and want to experiment for the sake of it. How is having an interest in experimenting different from experimenting for the sake of it? What's wrong with trying on shoes of people that don't have a choice of shoes? Isn't it good to see how other people live. Most things in the world are done by other people. It typically comes to our attention when we see others partake. So most of us are doing things just because others are doing it. I guess I'm just confused by the shoe example. Were you insulted because she judged your homosexual friends? Because your homosexual friends seem to be casting the same type of judgement. I'm curious why you felt it necessary to mention that.
@mrf284212 i mentioned it because it's what i've heard them say. my point is simple. if a person doesn't have an interest in something why do they need to experiment? if i have no interest in the effects of LSD, should i just try it anyway? there is no experimentation for experimentations sake, especially when said experiment has ramifications. it's one thing to say lets see what happens when i mix water and baking soda. it's a whole other things to suggest yes, engage in a physical relationship with a person of the same sex. go out and pursue a relationship, or just sex, even though you have no interest or desire the simple point is is you are interested sure try it but the idea that everyone should try it is simple minded and over simplification of what goes into a sexual relationship
You mentioned casting judgment because you heard them say she cast judgment on them? I wanted to know why you mentioned about her casting judgment, not why you commented. I find it highly unlikely that anyone who experiments with homosexual practices or LSD has no interest in them. Just because they don't talk about it with you or say they aren't interested, doesn't mean they don't think about it and have a degree of curiosity. Me commenting doesn't mean I agree with the original take. I just don't understand what is meant by experimentations sake. I understand your trying to compare it to something people do because it's popular. But just because something is popular doesn't mean the people doing it aren't interested in it. I find experimentation to include interest. Perhaps a different word wouldn't include interest.
To me it sounds like the same kind of judgement that your friends make. We don't know why people do things. If you would talk to the people and get through the surface emotions; you will most likely find something that appealed to them, so they tried it. That sounds like interest to me. I understand there is no reason for everyone to try homosexual practices. I just find it highly unlikely for a person to try homosexual without interest. So the judgment sounds odd to me.

A guy at the bar says he will pay for your drinks the entire night if you and your friend (woman) kiss on the lips for 2 min. not just pecks, full on kissing. every woman said "why not, it is just a kiss" 99.99999999% of straight guys would never even do a peck much less kiss.

I think your mistake was to try to convince people who didn't want to be convinced. Some minds are closed even to introspection. I get what you are saying. I cannot say I fully agree, but I see where you are going. I have always been curious about experimenting the world through a woman's eyes. If I could borrow a woman's body for a month or a year, I would do it. Simply because I am curious about what it means to be a woman and how different is the world when you are a woman. Without being exactly what you meant, I think it is not too far from it. While I can understand that some people might be open to the idea of trying gay sex, not everybody is. Not because they are not open minded but because they don't feel the need to experiment it. Their sexuality is very clear to them and they have no interest in other individuals of the same sex. I think the need to experience gay sex is not as ubiquitous as you may have thought.

1) I'm straight and
2) I like being able to not be lying when I say I've never done gay stuff

Sexual experimentation is mostly a female thing because females are often more insecure with their sexuality than men, and any woman who wants/has to try it out doesn't really have the courage or woman-ness to actually be in a good relationship with a man. In my opinion.
No, it's not that. It's just that the beauty of the woman's body is literally emphasized, and focused on in every drama, movie, and magazine shelf, or news site; in contrast to the ideal male body type. So naturally, a women growing up around this barrage of endless sexualization would get aroused over another woman's bodily beauty just out of the pure eroticism. It's a natural reaction caused by a subconscious process. Doesn't necessarily mean she wants to have sex with the woman, it's just that her body REMINDS her of sex, so to speak.

@Alaela What... did you write? I grew up in a beach town. I had sexy bodies in bikini's thrown into my face every single day. I grew up around what was told is beautiful etc etc and what you talk about. I grew up around this barrage of endless sexualisation. And I, not once, have ever felt aroused by a woman, not even remotely, I have never thought of a woman that way! I am 100% straight, have known that my entire life. I asked myself the first time I ever found out what a lesbian is, if I am that and that thought lasted like 2 seconds before I laughed at myself. I see my body every day, not once has it made me think about sex at all.
