Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing

Virginity isn't a moral value. Its just how today's patriarchal society dubs it, its more to with males ego and self preservation than anything else. If women were to dominate society for millennia, I don't see how men would feel the same way.

Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing.

But on a serious note, it is the truth. Men have somehow caused an upheaval about women's virginity. Some parts of the world are ok with a woman's sexual freedom. However most of the world isn't, and it is severely chastised.

What exactly brings this about?

Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing

Now before you rant on how society is free and equal today and nail me to the cross, let me share my theory.

Unlike female brain, the male brain is more competitive, it does not want to share anything with anybody and requires every desirable thing at first hand, in that case, his woman's heart and body completely untouched. Male Ego requires that the sensation of the first touch, kiss or any sexual act, which vividly and forever remains in the female brain as the first sexual experience, should belong only to him but nobody else.

Unlike male brain, the female brain is not so competitive and does not exclude previous sexual experience of her partner so strongly, even, in some cases, prefers it. That is why, in contrast to wide-spread view, the highly respected virginity is not a moral value, it is rather male egoism and no modernity can destroy it, can only reduce it, because male brain is the male brain every time and everywhere. It would not like to share his woman's body and memory with anybody, even if it has already been in past.

Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing

I know. I know. I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this. But let me complete what I have to say.

Any woman would like to be protected by the one she loves, the stronger opposite sex, we men. Feminists diminish this view.

Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing

Of course they would, they would deny that, they mask the fact that women are the physically weaker sex and insist that they can protect themselves without any help from the opposite sex.

Because most feminists, if not any, lead lonely and bitter lives. Any man worth his salt would definitely defend and help his partner. Now before we get ahead of ourselves, let's return to the topic.

Why Female Virginity Is A Guy Thing

But times are changing now, they always will, and there is growing acceptance that women need to be treated as equals. No more, no less. The ideals of chastity as such is not overrated either. But I believe that women should be allowed make that choice without judgment and prejudice from society. But hey, that's just me.

A special mention to Elmar Hussein, who is a timeless read. His words really got me thinking.

On that note, I will end this Take by a quote from Ayn Rand

"Love is blind, they say; sex is impervious to reason and mocks the power of all philosophers. But, in fact, a person's sexual choice is the result and sum of their fundamental convictions. Tell me what a person finds sexually attractive and I will tell you their entire philosophy of life. Show me the person they sleep with and I will tell you their valuation of themselves. No matter what corruption they're taught about the virtue of selflessness, sex is the most profoundly selfish of all acts, an act which they cannot perform for any motive but their own enjoyment - just try to think of performing it in a spirit of selfless charity! - an act which is not possible in self-abasement, only in self-exultation, only on the confidence of being desired and being worthy of desire. It is an act that forces them to stand naked in spirit, as well as in body, and accept their real ego as their standard of value. They will always be attracted to the person who reflects their deepest vision of themselves, the person whose surrender permits them to experience - or to fake - a sense of self-esteem .. Love is our response to our highest values - and can be nothing else." She did love her speeches.

  • The concept of vestal purity is not rooted in sexism or some "patriarchy"... If you need an explanation look no further than your closest and most popular holy book.

    • Many people are aetheists today.

    • That and most of these books were written by men.

    • That doesn't so much as prove the existence of a patriarchy as it does the existence of sadists and assholes... I mean these were the same people that thought it was a good idea to praise a man for listening to the voices in his head telling him to kill his son only to stop when the voice told him otherwise.
