Why guys don’t contact you after sex?

I met this guy through online and we started dating for two months but we talked about it and decided we should just be friends. Then we continued to meet up here and there for about 5 months as friends which was pretty wholesome and we got to know each other better. We kinda text almost everyday and would go to workout together once a week and follow with lunch and hangout (we didn’t do anything cross the line of friendship) However, one night we were just chilling at his place, we started to kiss (we were abit tipsy too) and then that led to sex. The morning after sex, we still went to workout together, but when we said goodbye I sensed that he became abit distant. It’s already been 1.5 days and haven’t heard from him and I left my keys and my glasses at his place … not sure how to react it and what to do

I would contact him as ask if you could get your stuff back. That is how I would handle it... that would lead to a conversation I would think. For him if you were just freinds, and then you hooked up, there is a chance that the sex put him in awkward place as well and he is unsure how to proceed.

So, I would text him about your stuff and see how he replies. Then when you are in person have a more personal conversation about the future of your "friendship."

So, for me this is the stuff woman do and say all the time. Here is this guy you know, and you like, you have spent time with, a fair amount of time with, you hooked up and now you are all like... I am not sure if I want to be in a relationship atm. Well, my dear, freinds or lovers, the truth is you are in a relationship with a man, and you can call it what you want, and now you have had sex with him and have feelings. Thats a little tough love there, so it's coming from a good place... but sometimes these are things you need to hear even if you don't like it. So, stop kidding around with yourself, and accept your feelings for what they are. How would I start that conversation... very easy. Again, if it was me, talking to woman... I would straight out say to her. "So, we had sex, and honestly, I personally do not regret it on some level, but I do on others because I am unsure where that leaves your friendship. I am just being honest with you and want to hear your thoughts on how you would like to proceed." Nothing gets a good conversation started better for me then direct honesty... in say that you told him what he needed to know, you were honest sincere and direct. Men love that shit from women, because honestly its flipping rare.
