Introduction:
You never really know the intentions behind someone sending a picture like this, but this is why I send them and most likely the reason every other guy sends these types of pictures.
Please no hate comments towards me, I have a girlfriend & she's the only one who gets mine.
Aroused
Most of the time when you're sent a dick pic, it will most likely be followed by a dirty message. It's because the guy is aroused.
When the man sends the picture, you may think he's trying to turn you on, well he is, but only because he knows if he turns you on, that you'd most likely reply with a dirty message or picture which gets him off. That's all the guy really wants is a dirty message or picture that he could get off to.
Women often times repeatedly tell men: "Dick pics do nothing for me."
He probably does not care, the only thing he wants is for you to end up sending him something dirty, so it's not really about the woman when a guy is sending pictures like this (In most cases, not all).
Confidence
A man might tell you he's sending you a dick picture because he wants to know if it's big enough or not. Sometimes this is true, sometimes this is false.
In some cases the man already knows his penis is above average, he's just confident enough that his size will impress you.
In other cases the guy may not have any confidence because he believes his penis is below average.
When he sends his dick pic to you and it's below average, he's mostly likely wanting you to tell him that his size is okay and that he shouldn't worry about it.
If his size is above average he's probably wanting you to be amazed by his size and for you to tell him how amazed you are.
The best way to prevent getting dick pics is to:
- "No" won't work when he's aroused.
- Blocking won't work, he'll make multiple accounts
- Tell him you're a guy
- Tell him you're gay
- Tell him you have a boyfriend & that he's right next to you
Honestly the best thing you could do is just tell him to send it, but don't look. Make fun of him, hurt his feelings, and he won't send it again.

First of all, I appreciate your honesty in sharing this. What it seems like you're saying in a nutshell is this: guys do something they know you don't want, because they're hoping you'll feel obligated to send something sexual back to them (which women also don't want, or they'd have already done it)... I'm sorry, but that's legit f***ed up!! This doesn't sound like the type of guy who respects women very much. Or at least not the ones he's doing this to. So basically when a guy does this, we ladies can take it as the same as a banner saying "stay away from this one unless you're just looking for a hook-up" (though I guess that much is obvious if he's sending unwanted dick pics anyway).
I was always so disappointed with guys who did this when I was single and looking to date. It made me feel very disrespected and they no longer got any response from me after that.
Also my comments are not directed toward a man doing this with a woman he already has a sexual relationship established with. That's a completely different scenario in that case.
When men do this & 99% of the time they're aroused when a guy is aroused he has a totally different mindset thats why like when a guy watches porn he'll be interested, but as soon as he finishes, the porn immediately becomes disgusting or another example is a guy will have sex with a girl & leave.. its the mindset... it changes after he releases thats most likely the reason they send them, they aren't thinking straight.

If it's not about being women, ironically, you should probably send those pics to other guys. Seriously.
For one, they have a penis and you can better compare sizes among yourselves.
Then, if all you want is something dirty to get off to, they will understand that better and send you something you can work with.
