Because they have a long sexual history which results in a huge emotional bagage. They date at a very youg age, have casual sex then date many people, face lots of breakups. @Милашка Oh, those are just stable relationships. I have had others too but the thing is without the failures how would I learn? A successful relationship does not happen through magic, it requires work and great care. Someone who is inexperienced with it is just as likely to screw things up as the absence of love in the first place. People keep talking about failed relationships as if "they were not meant to be", as if it was destiny. No. They just failed to maintain that relationship due to their own actions and mistakes. Establishing a successful relationship is difficult and takes constant effort and power of will. You can't just go into a relationship and believe everything will just magically work out for the best, it will not. So yes, I stand on the accumulation of my past experiences because it makes me a greater person just like how every artist stands on childish scribbles and every craftsman stands on their past mistakes and inexperience.

@Милашка The honeymoon period is not based on time but on the stage in your relationship so 2 years is not unheard of. As for having arguments and such, its a coping mechanism. Your relationship is not stronger for not having one since both of you are still going to collect stress and such things over time without having a way to resolve it resulting in these suppressed emotions and feelings slowly poisoning your relationship over time.

@Милашка Again, if it was not common we would not create a whole terminology for it with examinations and study. Its a known phenomena and its also known to not continue indefinitely. At some point the mystery will end, the biological high you are under stops and normal life resumes. You do not sound like you are ready for this call back to reality which is a shame since this kills many relationships, especially those that are inexperienced and are under the assumption that they are special and it will continue forever. To wake up and realize all that is gone is a hard thing to accept and it can be hard to maintain the relationship afterwards since its no longer "the same" and chasing that high is only going to push you further apart.
