Interesting. I, personally, love the feminine form. During puberty, women accumulate healthy fat in their boobs, hips, butts and thighs. The purpose of the stored fat is to nourish offspring. But it's what makes women curvy. It also makes them soft. That softness, combined with their silky-smooth skin defines femininity.
I like classic proportions similar to 34", 24", 34" with a.70 waist to hip ratio and medium-size boobs. Actually, my ideal would be something like 5'2", 32", 23", 34" and 26F or 28D.
I guess (most) people are attracted to the form of the opposite gender. Women like men's lean, muscular, triangular bodies. Men love women's appearance and softness. They love squeezing women's boobs and butts, and putting their arm/hand around the soft crook of her waist. They love the way women jiggle. They love gripping women's soft hips and thighs during sex and swatting their plump butts.

Yes. Broad hips denote a women better able to bear healthy children, and survive pregnancy- not much of a challenge with modern medicine, but quite an asset back in prehistoric times. When you see narrow hips, you usually see bigger butts; it's fundamentally (no pun intended) the same principle, just slightly displaced anatomically.
Breasts are a little trickier; the idea is that a bigger breast is a better provider of milk, which would lead to more surviving children. It doesn't actually work that way, though- this is sexual selection, not natural.
And the biggest part is that it's DIFFERENT from how a man's body is shaped. Whenever you have sexually dimorphic species, more pronounced versions of the different traits work as an attractor.

What I find amusing is that modern women (generally) keep showing more/begging for attention while getting less quality attention than their ancestors got (because hey, if all a woman has to offer a man is sex she's not that special). It's a spiral to the bottom.
