Why is G@g's Conservative community so toxic?

What really pushed me away from right wing politics, is how common I see such hostility over disagreements. Liberals definetely do it too. It seems to very common place for these people to be highly disrespectful and close minded. I won't sit here and pretend I don't see it from the left side on here, but not nearly as much. These guys seem to be very "The end justifies the means" type people, that if you don't like the arrogance, it's because you're a pussy. Left side affiliated people here typically get hostile in retaliation, but right wingers seem to enjoy starting shit without
provocation. I personally don't mind disagreement, but why is it every conservative I debate with has to start calling names, or start saying conspiracy theories, or any weird shit. Y'all talk so much about Trump derangement syndrome, where since you hate him so bad, you blame him for everything, but y'all do the same with liberals. You can't ever admit when one is right.

    I live in one of the BLUEST states in America right next to one of the Bluest cities inn America "San Francisco
    What you think of as being "Toxic" is not toxic it's called frustrated and defensive because of the way people like yourself instantly judge and then label others as a way too discredit them and shut them up to try to prove a biased and one sided point
    The once liberal America is no longer "Liberal" because they no longer have the ability to compromise or even listen to a different prospective from someone they have been brainwashed into thinking are immoral intolerant racist people filled with hatred for others

    The most Toxic people now days are the ones who accuse others of the exact same things they themselves are guilty of while at the exact same time they refuse to see the obvious hypocrisy of their own actions towards others probably because they somehow think their side is the morally true side in the argument

    How many riots have Liberal Americans promoted and pushed over the last 10 years
    What were the reasons for those riots?
    Who were Liberals targeting at those riots?
    What did Liberal leaders do to calm the riots down?
    What were the excuses liberals used to justify the use of violence their followers used against others?
    What were Liberals trying to accomplish using violence and intolerance as a tactic of social and political change?
    liberals are no longer liberal minded or open to debate because they have devolved into mindless illiberal followers that have no true cultural or personal identity or self respect or respect of others that may have a different point of view... Liberals have turned corrupt and fascist and are 100% willing to destroy people lives to achieve a political agenda... and even more willing to turn on their own supporters when they feel they no longer need them
    Democrats spent Trumps entire term as president attacking the other side without rest making knowingly FALSE accusation not just about Trump but also about his supporters... The Toxic lies democrats spread about the other side of the political isle not only created riots that cost Tax payers BILLIONS in damages all across America but is also costed people their lives and NOT ONCE DID DEMOCRATS APOLOGIZE OR STOP TO THINK ABOUT THE HARM THEY WERE CAUSING THE PEOPLE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE REPRESENTING AND DOING WHATS IN OUR BEST INTEREST

    people like yourself are the ones who promote this kind of toxic behavior and when you get even a little fraction of a taste of what conservatives had to deal with for more than 5 years on a daily basis you cry about being treated like the hypocrite ass holes you are
    Democrats have corrupted American ideals and American Values
    but you wouldn't know much about any of that because you are still a kid and probably never voted for someone based on their policies and instead voted based on political party name and ignored everything else... and that's a big problem

    looking from the outside at US politics is like watching the UK Independence Party and other far right crowd having a handbag fight with the Conservatives.

    The entire country is polarised and it’s getting worse.

    One of the really crap things is how literally everything is political or is the fault of Republicans or Democrats. Some of the stuff is so not political, however people just want to sling shit over it and make it political. Far to many are being led by bollox from a few toxic areas on both sides.

  • Actually, I see this happening from the Left more often than the Right. However, there are those that post opinions and react poorly when someone has the nerve to disagree with them. Those on the right may do it due to immaturity or ignorance. The Left does the same, but past observations have led me to believe it is more of a learned behavior.

  • As a onlooker from outside the US who is neither left nor right, your all as bad as eachother, constantly trying to pit one side against the other. Right is no worse than left, actually in some cases I've seen the left to be far worse. When are you all going to wake up and realise you're all being played?

    Your right wing has shifted left and are what the left wing would have been 50 years ago though to be honest they seem rather spineless. Your radical right is the same old religious nut jobs they've always been, though they are starting to get into the identity politics game as well.
