Why is it bad to sell your body for sex?

Some guys offer a lot, like $500. Is it bad if you suck at every job you do and you're poor so to get out of poverty, you sell your body?

  • Who said its bad if you are okay with it

  • It's not but people have all right to think it's bad

  • I can understand someone who thinks there are no other options, but in the west there is always jobs i. e tescos, cleaner, office etc. It might seem like an easy way to make money but in the long run it will eat away at you and you will regret it.

  • No I encourage this type of behavior it is a great way to get yourself out of a hole. And maybe start an exclusive escort service or something.

    • by hole, do you mean poverty or to become more confident and explore?

  • culture dictates good and bad, for me this would be fine. consenting adults should not be a crime

  • Yes.. it makes you a skanky whore and you will get aids!

  • Think other way. Sex is something nice and God teach us this for free. You doesn't teach you only thinking about money 💵 💵 💵

  • It's not. If you're struggling to work at regular jobs, or even if you just don't like them, then there's nothing wrong with considering sex work. If you think you can emotionally handle it then sell your body for sex and don't let other people's hangups cause you to feel shame about it.

  • It isn’t “bad”... do what you want. But don’t complain about or expect a quality partner or life when you reduce yourself to a commodity.

  • Depends on your dignity if you’re willing to do whatever they want whether you’re attracted to them or not

  • I don't think it's bad. Also if prostitution is selling your body, then in every profession you sell your body.

  • You don't always have to sell sex. You can sell nudes too. That eliminates bullying by pimps/clients.

Or find someone who'll keep you. I know sounds dangerously close to slavery. But you'd be provided for and only have one client. All you have to do is keep him satisfied.

  • Very bad, very wrong. Please don't do it for ANY reason.

  • I don't understand why it's illegal in most places? If someone willing to pay, what's the harm? It's consensual (unless the person is forced into the "business"). But other than taking advantage of guys for ridiculous amounts of money (do they ever feel guilty? lol), if both parties are willing, there should be nothing wrong with it. I can't say I wouldn't take advantage also if I was a woman.
