Why is it ok for a girl to be bisexual but not a boy?

As a bisexual male, I can’t stand the double standards. When a guy is bisexual it is gay; but, when a female is bisexual it is sexy.

I’m not speaking for all men and women about this, but this is just what I’ve noticed or heard when it comes to these topics;

Lesbian sex is fetishized by many men. Men are attracted to it because it is two girls together. FFM threesomes are more common too. That’s probably why it’s “ok” for girls to be bisexual.


Most women aren’t really into seeing two men have sex with each other or even thinking about it, tbh. It isn’t something that turns most girls on. I would assume that’s why most women aren’t really interested in bisexual men.

Don't let others tell you if it's wrong or not. Be yourself and most importantly accept for who you are.

Being male bisexual is same as being female bisexual that's why they are bouth called bisexual for crsit sake.

If somone says to you that being male and bisexual is wrong just put them in their pleace really. No one can tell you what to be but yourself!

You can pretty much thank guys for that, having it being illegal, death, then prison, then not certain jobs and eventually in some countries some freedom.

Mainly guys watch porn and they will not usually watch two guys.

Yeah agree it is a double standard. However, if you are getting comments, just ignore. You just have to be what feels right. Although I don’t have romantic relationships with guys I have a degree of bisexuality in me too, so I get it. I just am who I am

Are you hearing this “gay” comment from woman or men? If men they can be far more defensive and take threats to their own sexuality seriously. Woman are far easier going in conversation, even if straight.
