Why is porn demonized as a addiction when its useful for some people?

In my 20's i had sex a lot, not so much in my teens years and almost none in my 30's. The reason why i was having sex a lot in my 20's was because i would go for any woman it didn't matter I was just satisfying a urge which was wrong because I wasn't really attracted to them I was just taking what i could get. Every woman that I actually attracted to in my whole life , rejected me. I'm not rich so I can't afford to go to escorts all the time so porn is a good alternative, it satisfies the urge and it keeps my mind off of wondering will I ever get a woman that I'm actually attracted to and it stops me from misleading and using women that I know that I not attracted to. Don't tell me you can't have sex with someone you're not attracted to, escorts do it all the time.

  • It's demonized mainly by women because it is male visual fantasy and the one thing women hate more than anything is a male having enjoyment or pleasure without them.
They have no issue with female mental fantasy, no issue with women being disgusting at male strippers, having sex toy parties, reading or watching female smut, female masturbation, etc. The most common female fantasy is the rape fantasy, and this is "normal" because it's simply female fantasy.
Our society is run and centered around a female mindset. Therefore anything that is mainly male minded is attacked.

    • Yeah I agree. I think its useful for those who just can't attract those they're attracted to and are deprived of sex, I mean what is someone supposed to do if they're deprived of a sex life? If one can't afford to go to escorts every time they have a urge, what are they supposed to do?

  • It's only called an addiction when someone is addicted to it, which is quite possible. Like anything, it begins being categorized as an addiction when it interferes with your life and you literally NEED to keep on with it. If you just browse a few times a week or less, it's not an addiction. Several times a day, every day or all day, every day would absolutely be an addiction.

    • I browse everyday . Its a alternative to getting rejected by women i find attractive I've done everything, worked on myself, put myself out there, took advice, you name it. I'm also very diverse in when it comes to pursuing women so i know its not that i'm going for the wrong ones. If I was going to be one of those guys that takes what he can get when it comes to dating , would that be right? Would you just take what you can get? Mislead someone?

  • It can be addicting. If that's all you do in free time. It can be used for sometimes but it can't be a big part of life
