Why is the US so much more conservative and prudish than Europe when it gets to girls being sexual?

I noticed Americans struggle with young girls being sexually active or even express their desires. If a girl likes older men she has to be mentally damaged or her parents haven't raised her properly. If she has sex with an older man despite it being legal, they hate on it because she's a girl

In Europe, our age of consent is lower, we don't care as much because we know girls are horny too and generally prefer older men. We don't make a big deal out of it unless it's forced.

  • It depends on which European country you are a talking about, and generally which state you are referencing, but there's a few factors that influence this:

Generally, the more Christian (or religious in general) the state, the more traditional/conservative the views are on sexual activity, and the more negative the attention on women. At the same time, America had pretty strict, prudish Victorian views on sexual activity up until the Sexual Revolution in the 1960s and 70s. A lot of the older people in American society were raised when these values were still strong, and happen to be those in positions of power and influence, so society is still recovering from that.

I would say America has been progressing in its views on sexual liberty, and while there are still those who criticize women in younger-older relationships, the contention has now shifted to focus on why older men are so attracted to younger women/children and unable to attract people their own age/maturity. Maybe you should examine why parts of Europe have rates of child marriage as high as 24%, while the percentage in the U. S. is only 12% at its highest. America might be more conservative sexually, but this also means children are more protected against predators.

    • Many people in the US are backwards and still living in the last century. This is confirmed by religion and the high level of discrimination that goes on there.

    • That is true for most countries, it is not a US-specific problem

    • It's not a problem in Europe. I am saying this to support my argument why US pretends girls are not horny and try to repress them.

  • My impression, subject to being nonsense, is that European women are more comfortable with ordinary PIV and oral sexuality/lovemaking whereas US women tend to get weird and dramatic about it. I can't explain this.

  • Social norms I think. In reality I think Americans are pretty slutty or whatever.

From what European country do you hail? Cause I think it varies by country, too.

  • Too much Jesus. But it's changing. The west coast and northeast are as secular as Europe. The South would install a Christian theocracy if they could.

  • Religion!
"Parents haven't raised her properly" should read, "Parents haven't religiously programmed her well enough'.

  • Because whore culture is killing our country.

  • The puritans left Europe for the America

  • if i got trans surgery and my name became Alexa I'd be a whore. we all have needs. 🤣😂😝

  • So you think that its okay for girls to be groomed to have sex with adults before they are adults?

    • I never said that. It's not always grooming

    • Its always grooming anytime an adult has sex with a minor. Its not the minors fault. Its the adult and they should be treated as a pedophile.

    • I mean sometimes the kid seduces the adult

  • Americans in general are backward with many things, and I know I am American.

    • "Backward" my ass. Europe is not the benchmark for behavior.
