Why is “Trans” apart of the LGBT label? It’s not a sexual orientation, right?

All false it is fantasy, A man cannot be a woman and a woman cannot be a man. End of story This shit started when two twins one of which genitals came out weird so they cut it off and told him to live as a girl and then this cruel sexual ideology of mutilating somebody’s genitals came about I do not support it and I will certainly fight against it LGB sure don’t care do what you want in your bedroom gender dysphoria is a serious issue that needs to be taken seriously and not affirmation on a mental illness
With your question you show a bit of a lack of understanding of why their are letters in the first place.
it’s more of an umbrella to promote and protect sexually diverse including trans from discrimination and abuse, the movement started as a way to protect self determination, diversity and human rights.
there was a rumour it was a black trans that was one of first involved in Stonewall riots.
The entire history and abuse of gay men has been a stain on modern western countries.
LGBT+ member here. No, it's not really a sexuality as transgender people can be lesbian, gay, straight, or any other sexuality.
Transgender is included under the LGBT+ umbrella as that group has experienced many of the same social struggles that the other members have. We all have a common cause, so we all kind of band together to advocate for that cause.
How do you feel about the growing number of letters in the LGBT title? I mean gay is a synonym for lesbian, so not sure why both are needed…
So I'm lesbian, but I've definitely used gay to describe myself in a number of occasions. They are interchangeable to me. Others may not share that same sentiment. And honestly, I really don't have an issue with more groups being added. I want people to feel comfortable with who they are and if that means they have a new label, than by all means, go for it! I wasn't fully comfortable expressing who I am when I was in my hometown. Now that I live in the city that I do, I feel almost completely at ease as this is a very diverse and accepting city. And I want everyone to feel this level of comfort, so I truly don't have any issue with the addition of more groups.

Because they're going through what the others were until very recently, and still are in many places.
Isn't it obvious? Trans people wanted to get more clout and even though it doesn't make sense for them to be part of LGB they were added anyway because that community makes no sense to begin with. Adding so-called "asexuals" doesn't even make sense either, it's like adding someone who doesn't like watching birds into a bird watching group. It's so fucking retarded.
I am bisexual by the way but do not count me among those sjw weirdos. It's just a growing list of people with various dysfunctions that want to tag along with homos and bi's.
It's a gender alternative -
I think the label just wants to include every category without leaving any one out even if they are not exactly the same things.
Not a bad thing, or course. I think my marketing brain was analyzing how to make the message a bit clearer.
apart vs a part.
Big difference in one little space huh?
Just like up vs down.
