In your age range , and that was me back in the day , the Male Curse ( sex drive ) in younger men is many orders of magnitude higher than his female counterparts. Glaringly obvious really. Testosterone & brain wiring are why. However even men in this age range do not think about nothing else , we are capable on focusing on other areas. Most women could happily be and stay celibate & the male libido is the primary reason why most women view men negatively & with contempt to at least some degree.

I don’t think men are just focused on sex. Consider the innovations and advancements that have been brought about by men. These didn’t just happen, they took extreme mental fortitude and determination to accomplish which negates your premise. Not to say that men are the only ones responsible for invention but I’m pointing out that men put a lot of effort into human progress.
