Superb Opinion

  • So if you are constantly trimming then you are cutting off the dead ends an only leaving the healthy part... which will seeming looks as if it grows back faster.

The reality is that it just has not been exposed to the nature elements or wear and tear, so as it gets longer the ends will fray and split and break off... so does not seem that long hair is growing at the same rate as short hair, but in reality, it is.

Just like your pubic hairs are growing at the same rate as every other part of your body.

  • I have noticed, it does!

Well, it may also have to do with gravity. Blood flows till the ends of the hair roots. This is also the main reason for balding in many cases. Adequate blood is not supplied to the hair roots, thus, the roots become weak and well, and the hair become thin.

I have noticed that pubic hair also tends to be thicker than other hair on our bodies. The primary role of hair is the protection of certain body parts from certain hazards. It is we who turned hair into fashion. Maybe that is also the case. Protection.

    • Yeah now they have what they call negative underwear it shows I believe the outline and the color of the hair and the nipples I just saw it like a month ago interesting concept.

  • Cuz it's suppose to be there for protection

  • It just seems that way bc they shorter than head hair, but all hair grows at the same rate on a person's body.

  • Why does it stop growing at a certain length

    • Who knows 20years older lol

  • Probably because it's more protective/useful. Like fingernails grow faster than toenails because you use them more. Think about your head hair is basically only for warmth. But your pubes take a lot of friction every day just from walking and wearing clothes. It's not just decoration.

  • I don't know that it does? That begs a question? I always thought that public hair reached a 'certain length" and did not continue to grow, like fur, on an animal grows to a certain length and stays that length.

If that were not true of pubic hair, if it just continues to grow, and grow and grow, soon we would not be able to put our 'pants' on, like the Man in the Iron Mask, his beard grows until he strangles on it.

BTY I would love to be strangled on pubic hair.

  • Mine doesn't. By coincidence, I got a military buzz cut the same week I gave my rug one. They are about the same now.

  • I don't know about you, but my head hair is a lot more public than any other C:

  • I have no idea

  • Seriously it's just a nuisance. I want to get mine permanently removed

  • Definitely don’t think that’s true…

  • Mmm warm moist location vs outside temperature changing and hardly any moisture? That’s my guess.

  • Does it?

  • Does it? I wanna know your secret

  • No idea why is it happen.

  • It doesn’t, it’s just because little pubic hair would feel like a 6 months head hair growth

  • Beats me, lol.

  • Its where most of the hormones secrete first.

  • I don't know

  • Probably bc we’re constantly shaving, etc. Messing with follicles causes faster growth.

  • Exposure to the elements.
