I am in no way justifying molestation of children at all, I think people who stick their chorizo or talk sexual to a little kid who's obviously ignorant about the negative consequences of sex, like stds, anal fissures, pink socking, unwanted pregnancies, and the stigma of being a dirty person, should get the death penalty, provided there is solid evidence of molestation agaibst the accused in court.
Let's not ignore that there does exist people who will male up false accusations against someone and get their life ruined as the motivation but cannot present any evidence of molestation be it from the current time it occurred or if it happened years before. If you accuse someone of touching you innaproprately, talked sexual to you when you were a minor, and you couldn't produce recordings or footage and all you have is conjecture no matter how many people are on your side, that to me is attempted libel or slander with the intent to ruin someone's life and gain monetary value, I find this just as damaging as actual molestation I would have a death penalty for that.
In ancient Babylon, the empire thar jews and Christians considered wicked, they had death penalties for accusing someone of a crime and couldn't produce evidence, we should have the same, it's very easy to ruin someone's livelihood and freedom I'm America saying they're pedophiles and that needs to be addressed.
What Girls & Guys Said
2 1I'm all for punishing malicious accusers, but first off: how do you differentiate between those who are simply incorrect and those who are deliberately out to ruin somebody? Secondly, slander and libel (defamation in general, really) laws are already on the books; what makes accusation of child molestation so egregiously worse that DEATH is warranted?
Suppose I know where you live and work and I show up to both and tell your neighbors and Co workers that you're a pederast and you download illegal porn and they believe ot without a second thought and you get fired and the community constantly harassed you day and night, how would you feel?
Because actual child rapists don't even get a death sentence. It doesn't make sense that accusing someone of a crime falsely would have a worse punishment than doing the actual crime.
Child rapists who stick their willy in a kid or a hoochi koocher should get the death penalty to
I agree, but they don't. And since they don't, it would be ignorant for false accusers to get a worse sentence.
Pretend I'm an emperor in this scenario and I give all pederasts, pedophiles, and butterfly kisses (a name for lesbian pedophiles) including slanderous and libelous people the death penalty alty, would you protest?
No, as long as there are adequate measures to be sure that the accused is certainly guilty.
Should those measures be limited only to heresy and conjectures no matter how detailed they are ir do you think they must include physical and tangible evidence the proves clear cut and beyond reasonable doubt? Anyone can lie and come up with graphic details n9 matter how false it is, that's what makes good story writers fir books and anime and movies and shows.
Obviously actual evidence should be required.
*sigh* you're more likely to die in a plane crash than be falsely accused of rape/sexual assault.
I don't know, in this day and age of social media and people in America and Europe lacking severe critical thinking skills and following trends easily it can be easy to ruin someone's life with a lie
That wasn't a question. I'm telling you a fact.
And you're more likely to be killed by a champagne cork than by a machine gun; that doesn't mean it shouldn't be punished.
@NamerOfStars nobody said anything about it not being deserving of punishment.
You sighed and claimed that the asker was "more likely to die in a plane crash than be falsely accused of rape/sexual assault". What did you mean to imply if not that suggestion was ludicrous?
@NamerOfStars just saying it's something that people bring up a lot when it's so unlikely to happen.
That's the other thing- your "fact" was wrong on the face of it. The US averages about 350 deaths in plane crashes each year (per the FAA). We also have about (per BJS statistics) 750,000 or so police complaints about sexual assaults each year. That means that if only one half of one percent of those accusations were false, you STILL have better odds of being falsely accused. But it gets worse, because those are only POLICE complaints- HR complaints and bitching to peers aren't factored in. If you meant that he's more likely to be accused of sexual assault and have the accusation proven false, then yes, you're entirely correct. But otherwise, you're full of it.
@NamerOfStars I don't know where you're getting that number from, but we're talking about chance not stats. You have a 1 in 11 million chance of dying in a plane crash. A man is 230x more likely to be raped than be falsely accused of rape. They say that false accusations account for less than 5% of reports but amongst those 5% are also reports that didn't have enough evidence, the victim retracted their report, or they just simply weren't believed.
The FAA and BJS, as I said. I'd be interested to know whether there's actual information on your claim of false rape rates, or it's just Feminist blather. If the only way of knowing whether it's true or false is if it's PROVEN false, that's hardly the same thing. For that matter, again- accusations are not formal charges, but they still have serious consequences.
@NamerOfStars you seem more concerned about false rape claims than actual rape cases which affect a lot more people and more likely someone you know.
Rape has noticeable overtime affects on people
