Guys, Why would a man assume a woman has daddy issues for being attracted to older men?

You have it right when you say assume. They make the assumption that a girl who doesn't like them or any other guy their age must have a problem. Since they do like older men then that must be the problem, daddy issues. They want a guy like daddy or if they didn't have a dad growing up then one to take his place.
If that were the case then I guess I have baby issues since I prefer younger girls. (legal age to their 40's)

Because there is enough truth to at least give it some thought. But it's definitely not something that should always be assumed. Sometimes people with significant age differences are just right for each other. I have friends who have 10, 11 and even 15 years apart. So it really depends on the individuals.

I wouldn't assume that, I never assume anything. I think most people do assume that because there are girls out there who do have daddy issues. But tarring all girls that sleep with older guys with that brush is just ignorance.

because a large majority if people (focusing more on the males in this one) are either uneducated in how attraction/s work or are mis-educated.
