i told a guy i liked him (he kissed me in July) and he said it wasn’t serious and he unfollowed me off twitter. he's a close friend too... why is he reacting this way?

is as if he's running away? why? i simply just asked if it meant anything and he said it wasn't serious and i was like “oh i thought it was” never hearf from him again. he would talk to be after the kiss tho... it was only after i said it
