I cannot remember ever thinking girls genitals are nasty! And therefore I would never show repulsive feelings toward their genitals. Of course, there was always the separation of young boys and girls in social groups, and teasing back and forth. But it had nothing to do with genitals in my recollection.
I'm thinking too young and maybe not even interested in girls yet? Or, maybe just these specific guys. I've NEVER thought that ever, at any age, so I can't relate or say why. That's my only guess. I think it mostly comes from peer pressure and the prevailing playground culture. In reality prepubescent children have sexual feelings and may be attracted to one of their classmates. Often young boys and girls have crushes on teens or adults.
