    I will enter this as a genuine question even though I am sure there are better answers through google... and regardless of who this is really is. troll or not.

    So there is some psychology here that we need to accept and a baseline scenario. So I assume high school because that is the peak of teens hormones. Yes I understand it can extend to college. But for the sake of this lets stick with high school. So psychologically if you are in a smaller high school or schools in general then you probably interact with students for much longer over the course of 4 years. Even if you teach one subject, you might teach two or three different years of said subject. Assume you are somewhat attractive, and somewhat young then yeah teens will have fantasies or become aroused by teachers; male or female. Its not just physical appearance but personality too. No one like a mean teacher or a teacher that isn't understanding. Honestly, I know friends that are teachers and I can say that they are very attractive. I am still close to my first grade teacher. She's told me story about her students Dad's being overly "nice" to her. I'm sure high school teachers get so much shit for being moderately attractive because I know from my experience that students may look at them as weak teachers. My class in high school made my English teacher cry and she was just in training too. So there is so much going on in school. And if we look back on history and today, people have sexual fantasies about anyone or profession. So... its kind of a moot point. The psychology behind it is one novelty, something that is taboo, and teachers in general are people that are in our primary development. Think about it K-12 plus college which can be an additional 4 to 10 years of our lives. There are great teachers out there that we look up to, and because they are a role model and someone in power plus the extra perception of teachers as a kid in a sense that they are well put together, and are well educated can be seen as attractive. People can have a lot of kinks.

  • Don't know. Don't know if it really is common. I never had a teacher fantasy. I've had woman fantasies, who just happen to be teachers. The last one was my nutrition teacher in college. Since I went back to college at an older age, it was the first time I had a crush on a teacher who was younger than me. It wasn't because she was a teacher though. It was because she was hot and seemed like an interesting chick.

    Maybe it's because you get a lot of time seeing them in their element. How many times do you really see someone at that level for so long? You spend just as much time with the girls in the class, but they are just sitting there. You might spend that much time with co-workers, but not likely.

    I could speculate on the taboo thing, but I'm not buying that one.

A teacher has authority in the classroom, which entangles with the power fantasy both being powerless or having power over the teacher.
