  • I believe if you keep trying you can pass. If you've gotten this far you can do it. Why call yourself a hard worker if you're looking for a sugar daddy? You can get a job not being a doctor and still make enough money to not feel this way. You'll pay your debt off eventually if you truly want to quit on passing the boards.

    Also, you can be all those other things for your husband and have a career if that's something that makes you happy if you're a very sexual person. If you're just doing those things for him, but don't really want to, and do it to just keep a guy, that makes me sad.

    You have more options than you think. Unless you just don't want to work and be as you described. If that's the case then there's always some men looking for an arrangement like this. No shame just be honest with yourself.

  • I think the real question is would you be happy turning you marriage into a job? Not sure that sounds fun and you could miss out on all the really cool stuff in a marriage. Say you keep on studying and fail can you stay back another year? In the event that fails can you use that knowledge to get another more accessible position. At a minimum I think your freedom is worth more than an extra year or even two of studying.

    • i can't remember everything. im a bad standardized test taker :(. keep taking practice tests and doing bad. Might have to do an extra year to study for this thing but that doesn't guarantee that i pass

    • Hmmh. If it is a subject area where you have to to remember a lot of things don't forget rote learning. I had 3 hr exams so I developed a 3 hr memory :). Stress is bad for learning and memorizing. I think just remembering summary points on a few sheets of paper can help a lot as it becomes a game with yourself and takes away stress. Also break it down into topic areas so you build confidence.
