Sexual Health So to start off, I’m 18- and my mom doesn’t know I have had sex. 4 months ago I called my doctors office, because I was really worried. I needed to talk to someone so they just put me on the phone with a worker. It was my first time having sex and she just listened to me and told me it was all confidential. Fast forward to now im going to the doctors tomorrow to talk about birth control (for when I get married) and my mom is coming with me. I’m terrified that somehow my doctor heard about it and will tell my mom! Will my doctor keep my secret?

As an adult your doctor is under no obligation to tell your parents. In fact it would be a violation of doctor patient privilege.

It Is Illegal For Your Doctor Anything Medical Related, And Personal Information With Your Parents Or Anyone For That Matter… Only Another Medical Professional Can View Your History With Your Doctor, IE A Second Opinion, But Your Doctor Must Get A Signed Release From You…
