As Chris said below, a dom would have no issue with your experience, if anything they would feel more comfortable with someone who is already experienced, has knowledge of the dynamic and understands their own desires, needs and boundaries.

You can't fully trust another person if you don't even know what sex does for you psychologically.
"Reading" about it somewhere cannot ever replace first hand experience.

Yeah I think I didn’t articulate well. I’m definitely not saying I’d pick someone just based on that. I’ve been in a really serious committed relationship before, and I found that despite being hesitant to engage physically I was more than attracted to my partner being dominant just sexually. I found that I liked my partner to be dominant as a partner, someone I can trust to fall back on and let them take decisions for me (again not COMPLETELY). So I think it’s more than likely that if I’m seriously interested in someone again it’ll probably be someone who is inherently dominant in their nature, hence my question.
