Nah, cucumbers have always been too expensive and they have too many bumps on them. I prefer zucchinis. They are smoother, cheaper and come in a wider range of shapes and sizes. Just wash thoroughly first and then "polish" it with a cloth to get the fuzzies off and it's good to go. And they cook up in so many yummy ways. Definitely a multi purpose veggie.
