Doing a vasectomy if you’re in a stable relation and have all the kids you need / want to offload the reproductive burden from your partner, fine, nice, good in you, but as male dat did not yet have his own family… What’s wrong with using condoms in a responsible way? Plan B is still there to protect against breaking condoms.

Not sure why RvW would have anything to do with the rise in vasectomies…. If you don’t know each other well and / or aren’t prepared to be a parent (or catch an STD), everyone should be practicing safe sex.

But, if you are an adult, you are certainly free do do whatever makes you like.

Whether he’s snipped or not is his own business. However, it’s tough to trust someone who says they’ve had a vasectomy. I slept with a guy who said he’d had one, so I didn’t make him wear a condom. Then at the end, he pulled out so it made me think he lied to me about it.

It's an easy way to ensure the guy is also childfre and not just lying to get laid. I'm also exchanging proof of my sterilization for the same reasons, and we'll be exchanging STD checks, too. For obvious reasons.

Unless a man is 100% sure that he doesn't want kids, getting a vasectomy is the dumbest thing you can do. Vecestomies are intended to be a permanent form of birth control because reversals aren't guaranteed. Just use condoms. Any woman who demands men to get a vasectomy are just as bad as men who try to force women go on birth control.
