If you try to nderstad them from your perspective, you wil fail, because you assume that they are thinking and feeling similar to the way that we think and feel. They don't. Women are different, and I DAMNED glad they are!

Getting naked with a man and having him see every sqauer inch of their body is thretening for many of them and they want to make sure that you will not laugh or even reject them, so they wait until they trust you. They also don't want to act like a thought and be thought of as a slut. Reputations are difficult to change once they are established.
4. "Yet many women ( not just professional prostitutes...) have sex just for money or some other benefit from the man.." Yes, there are women who use sex as leverage to get what they want from men. And there are men who use money or their prestige or power s leverage to get sex from women. We should all be careful before we jump in bed with someone just because of a moment of consuming lust.
